Pros: None that I can think of Cons: They don't approve very many people
After I turned 19, I had cards coming out of the "wazoo" ... I was the only 19 year old around that had 3 credit cards. I guess this was because I worked at the Hudson's Bay company when I was 17 and got a store card. Anyway, it seemed that...

Pros: Printed break down by category of goods and services. Cons: The thieves will change your grace period without notifying you.
I pay my credit card in full each month. Those crooks at Citibank shorten the grace period because I do this. They even told me this over the phone tonight. It became outrageous when their closing date is 10/4/05 then the payment is due on 10/24/05. ...

Pros: great cash back reward program Cons: zilch
After reading some of these reviews which state that they have no rewards, I am a bit confused because my Citi Platinum Dividends cards seems to have plenty of them. Are we all talking about the same card?? Anyway, read my review and then judge for ...

Pros: Great Website, good fast automated account info, some nice features Cons: Worst company policy ever. Screwed me over big time. Read below.
I was a proud card-carrying Citibank Visa customer for 12 years. Thats TWELVE YEARS with one credit card company. I had often carried a balance for a few months at a time and have charged 10s of thousands to this account over those 12 years.

Pros: Good credit line. Cons: Deceptive and Misleading Practices. A disgusting company.
I used to have sentimental feelings for my Citibank Visa card. After all, it was the first credit card I ever had in my wallet after I signed up for it in my College Bookstore in 1993. What began as a student credit card with a $600 limit has blossomed ...

Pros: Big (known) name Cons: Bad customer service, too much solicitation by mail for additional accounts
I haven't had any problems previously with Citibank, until this one. I had a billing issue (I attempted to pay off my balance in full then received a bill the next month for finance charges, I paid that and then received a .50 bill the next month) and ...

Pros: None Cons: Customer service people have no knowledge, give conflicting information, never follow through or follow up
I've called their customer service number about five times to ask about setting up automatic payment (so that the card balance is taken out of my checking account automatically) and I've gotten about five different answers. One person said they'd set it...

Pros: Good interface with Quicken. Cons: Disloyalty to good customers.
After 15 years with a Visa CitiCard with no late payments ever, I received an unpleasant surprise when a purchase at the grocery store was refused. When I called the customer service I was told that I had exceeded my credit limit. I pointed out that my ...

Pros: Good service and terms in the past Cons: New attitude shows no concern for customer loyalty or satisfaction
I was first issued my Citibank VISA card over 13 years ago while still a sophomore in college. Until the last year or so, I had always found my card useful and my dealings with Citibank pleasant. I made my payments on time, and when I periodically paid...

Pros: Good customer service, good rates, high credit line Cons: no fixed rates offered on contract rate.
I own 3 Citibank cards: the platinum select, the dividend, and the diamond preferred.
I keep having good experiences with this company. When I first got my platinum select card, the rate was a prime 5.99 for purchases. In less than a year,...

Pros: No comment! Cons: Liar! Liar! Liar!
I selected Citibank because they keep sending me letters about there great offer they have for me. I had got letters for over a year from them. The deal was a 1.9% rate for ten months if I would transfer 4,500.00 from another credit card company. ...

Pros: Online account management (when you're not locked out of it for "security threats") is good Cons: They treat their customers like idiots; they're more concerned with fraud protection than functionality
Citibank’s marketing their “early warning fraud alerts” as if they’re making our lives better by blocking transactions on our credit cards is insulting to its customers. I’ve been at a gas station, with no cell phone, at 3a.m. with a sleeping baby in ...

Pros: Haven't really found any. Cons: Poor customer service and trickery.
I obtained an Associates credit card several years ago. I always had excellent service with Associates and never any problems. The interest rate was a little higher than the rest of my cards, but there was no annual fee, so I felt it was a fair trade...

Pros: On-line payments, on-line statements, e-mail updates Cons: Uncaring, unforgiving - you are just a number
I have been a Citibank customer since 1993. Because of issues with a GM Mastercard and them taking over 30 days to process payments, I always paid them in plenty of time. When internet payments became available, I began paying online and never missed a ...
