Pros: Relatively high credit limit for an unsecured card geared towards a "bad credit" audience Cons: Very high fees and interest, even for a "bad credit" credit card.
I noticed that virtually all of the extremely negative reviews (which about 90+% of the reviews were) occurred from late 2001 and before. This makes me wonder based on my more recent experience with CCB whether the lawsuits and bad publicity has made ...

Pros: I hear they'll give anyone some kind of card Cons: Whatever card they give you (which may even be secured, and include fees) is going to be terrible
Desperate to rebuild my credit, I decided early in 2000 to get a handful of sub-prime cards which reported consistently to credit bureaus, and babysit them with great zeal in order to improve my credit over time. During my search for anyone who'd give me...

Pros: That's what they are at taking your money Cons: That's what the should be for taking your money
In retrospect, I have to wonder why I bothered getting a gold card from Cross Country Bank. Unfortunately, they will charge fees every way they can. There’s a $30 over-limit fee, a $30 past-due fee, a $10 per month maintenance fee (which can be...

Pros: none - I cancelled immediately Cons: $50 annual fee, $100 "activation fee" - Puleeze!
My history with Cross Country Bank has been all of five minutes, but it was indeed memorable.
I received one of those typical offers in the mail for those of us with "less than perfect credit" (how nicely they put that!)and decided, "what the...

Pros: Gives people with poor credit or no credit ability to re-establish or establish credit Cons: Fees are hefty and no grace periods
I want to begin by saying that my experience with CCB has been a positive one. I understand everything that the people who are downing CCB are saying, but fail to understand the thought process behind it. People are saying that the fees are outrageous,...

Pros: they give credit to just about anyone Cons: costs you a fortune
My husband received an offer from Cross Country Bank in the mail 2 years ago, they offered low interest for the first 6 months and we were guaranteed a credit limit of $1000. I read all the fine print and the only drawback I found was the $59 yearly fee....

Pros: NONE Cons: Horrible rates & rep-no 800# for C/S
I used to work for the company that took the Cross Country Bank credit card applications over the phone.
First of all, read the fine print on their application before you apply-you are "pre-approved" to APPLY!
You pay $250.+ in fees and...

Pros: Gave Us A Second Chance Cons: High Interest/Not very Customer oriented
I do know how to read, and I also know that I what I agreed to when I signed the acceptance letter. What I didn't agree to was the way they treat their customers.
I have sucked it in and paid my share of over the limit fees, etc. Never once...

Pros: Zip Cons: Just Do Not Get Involved With These Crooks
Outrageous fees is just the beginning with Cross Country "bank". They offer little if any customer support and their customer service department is a very unfunny joke. Cross Country operates a total scam that takes advantage of and exploits those...

Pros: I really don't know Cons: everything, read the review
Mark my words, this company is not going to make it. Their policies are completely NOT customer friendly and their interest rates are criminal. There are so many outrageous charges that they tack on - it's like if you breath too loud, you'll get slammed...

Pros: Good starter card for those with bad credit. Cons: 25.9% interest rate, bad customer service.
Like a lot of people, I had bad credit. I needed a card to re-establish myself and signed up for Cross Country. The interest rate was high but I was on my way to better credit. I have had the account since 1999 and received 1 increase. Recently, I...

Pros: Larger Credit Line Cons: Everything else
Because of the experience and small credit line, I went and signed up with another card, Cross Country Bank.
I received my Gold Card in the mail. When I went Christmas Shopping with the card I bought about four items and then I started...

Pros: Absolutely None Cons: Too many to Count
My experience with Cross Country Bank is incredibly bad.Poor service is one thing, but NO service is something else. No toll-free number and they keep you on hold for 20 minutes. Two months to answer letters of inquiry. In 2000, they "never...

Pros: They will give credit to anyone!!!!
Cons: NONE!!!
Cross Country Bank...the first time I heard that title I started to look into it. My brother was complaining about the high fees that they charged him on his pay by phone ($7). Then he told me about every other fee they had and I couldn't beleive it!...
