Pros: The have Pros? Cons: Everything they do
This company has you coming and going. They start off with an interest rate of 20.99% and go upwards. That is high but considering the risk they are taking, it could be worse. Then they have NO GRACE PERIOD for finance charges, meaning that if the...

Pros: None Cons: Hides from the public. Just try to contact them!

Pros: None Cons: Thousands of people claim to have been ripped off by this company

Pass this one up!
by immacritic2 ,Dec 03 '03
Pros: There's a reason it's easy to get this card.. Cons: High interest, awful customer service. Just say no!
One late payment and Cross Country will bump your interest rate up to 29%. They have NO sympathy for their customers and weren't interested in the reason behind our SINGLE late payment.
Avoid Cross Country Bank like the plague!!

Stay Away From Cross Country & Applied Card
by johnleet ,Nov 05 '07
Pros: There are absolutely none Cons: Too many to list but completely criminal and illegal practices sum them up.
My experience mirrors the experience of millions of Cross Country victims. I was lucky and was able to close my account with them, but my credit was negatively affected and I was ripped off for quite a sum. Many states have sued this outfit but it still preys on innocent people using different business names. They are the worst, the truly criminal side of the credit card industry, and their reputation speaks for itself. A web search will give you all the information you need. Please be careful dealing with any credit card company but run when you see the name Cross Country Bank.
