This was my first credit card. About a year after I opened the account, I received a letter that my interest rate was being dramatically increased because of problems found in my credit report. I have over ten credit cards and have never been late on any payments... ever. I fought the increase, and as a "one time courtesy" it was put back to my original rate. About two months later, I got another letter that once again stated due to issues with my credit report, my credit limit was now cut in half and as a result I was over the limit. Once again I fought this. They provided no evidence of negative factors in my credit report, but said there was nothing they could do this time except run another credit report then request a limit increase. I said no way, I have others credit cards with higher limits and I simply canceled it. They have no regard for their customers and mysteriously find things in credit reports that no one else seems to catch.
