Pros: slow payment processing with no late fees, nice web site name Cons: Customer service (except automated), difficult to get payoff information

Pros: Low minimum balance, no monthly fee, free check imaging, many checking account options Cons: Hassle to open account, not enough teller transactions, need more locations
Let me say this upfront. I have very low standards for banking and telecommunications services. If they work and don't charge me an arm and a leg, then I am satisfied. I've come to learn that you can't have high standards with finance, utilities or...

If you are looking for a bank that has good customer service, check out LaSalle bank.
For seven years I had been banking with First Chicago, which recently became Banc One. I had signed up for direct deposit with them and had a Visa Bank...

Pros: Strong financial institution nationally Cons: poor customer service!!
I have had my account with LaSalle National Bank for a little over 4 months. Upon opening the account, I also requested to have access over the Internet for the Online Banking feature. Much to my chagrin, I must say that ABN AMRO (parent company) and...
