Pros: Web site Cons: Service
I started my accounts with Wells Fargo when I got my first job. I knew nothing about good banks and bad banks, and I have to say, at first I was very pleased with them. Wells Fargo has friendly tellers, and I love being able to check my accounts on...

Pros: Lots of ATMs. Free billpay (with high enough balance on checking). Cons: Very poor support that makes big mistakes that cost you money.
Despite the following problems, I stayed with Wells Fargo because I liked their web interface and the convenience of local ATMs.
1. Credit Card issued that I did not request (to cover overdraft protection for which I did not ask).
2. Credit...

Pros: Cheap checking accounts, Online access, Decent amount of ATMs (west coast) Cons: Ridiculous overdraft fee system, pretty average bank overall
I turned 17 years old two years ago and I knew I needed a checking account soon so that I could professionally manage my huge sums of money (an astounding $45 at the time!). Where I live, southern california, finding a bank is pretty easy to come by. In...

Pros: Online banking, apply for loans online Cons: Big, big impersonal bank
First of all, I have bad feelings towards Wells Fargo before I even banked with them... here's why: I spent 14 years working at a little community bank in St Paul MN. This bank was like family! We had about 150 employees in 3 branches. Our logo was...

Pros: none Cons: see above!
Best if ol' Cindy lets this stagecoach turn back into a pumpkin.
I had been with WF for about 4 years until I finally had the last straw. Aside from the terrible customer service, the long teller lines, and long hold times on the phone,...

Pros: Online ease, many locations Cons: 8-5 M-T, 8-6 F for those who can't take a lunch or work late
Shortly after writing this glorious epinion for Wells Fargo, someone asked how I could give such a bad bank, a good rating. Well, I experienced zero problems up until about a week later. After my check card was considered lost/stolen, a new card was...

Pros: Easy to use, handy Cons: customer service not up to par
Well let me just say that after reading some of the other reviews of Wells Fargo, I might not have selected them to be my bank. The reason I did is because I recognized the name, and I needed a bank to store my money in. And moving to California from...

Pros: many locations and that's about it......................... Cons: Uneducated rude "bankers", not respectful of members handling of their accounts. Establishments integrity is questionable.
I met with the employee who assisted in opening the Time Account after researching the linking of my single savings account with the joint account she admitted she accidently linked the two accounts. She apologized profusely and I do know human errors ...

Pros: On-line banking Cons: incompetent agents
Let me tell you about the worst customer service experience I have ever had. The moral of this story is don't ever lose your ATM and check card!
Although I still say that Wells Fargo has the best banking web site bar none, its human element leaves...

Pros: Free checking account, hardly any service fees, obtain Visa checkcard w/signup to checking Cons: Have $300+ in acct or charged service fee for tele-assistance. That's it.
I started out using another bank (competitor)....Big mistake, well kinda. I kept getting outrageous service fees from this One bank, so I switched to Wells Fargo. "sigh of relief" Anyways, I got a free checking account, a checkcard with a Visa logo....

Pros: Fair service Cons: none
In the late 90's I first opened an account with Wells Fargo in Oregon. I had at that point had one account for the last decade in Alaska. This was before the debit card and other features have become on the market.
I was used to writing...

Pros: Bill Pay is easy to use Cons: Fees tend to be excessive
Unlike many people, I investigate a company before joining. So when I see so many people gripe about fees, I say, "Let the buyer beware". It's no mystery most banks tack on miscellaneous fees. Many times they seem excessive but I understand...

Pros: None Cons: Do not care what happens when they make a decision about your account.
To whom it may concern:
I moved to a new state in August and needed to open a bank account. Wells Fargo was convenient to my house and job, so it seemed like the right bank for my husband and I. We opened up two separate checking accounts and...

Wells Fargo was the second bank I attempted to bank with. At the time I was working for a grocery store chain in which Wells Fargo banks were located so it was very convenient for me to use Wells Fargo. I must say that I am really happy with Wells...
