Pros: free checking with Direct Deposit, branches virtually everywhere, online banking Cons: fees, unexplained fees, unexplained holds, bad customer service!
On a sunny day such as this, you'd wonder how anyone could be in a bad mood. I'll tell you why, I just got off the phone with the 'Customer Service Representative' at Wells Fargo. Why you ask? I made over $800 in deposits to my account last week, and my...

Pros: They seemed like pro's at extracting money to which they weren't entitled. Cons: Treated me like a convict, somehow our CC was charged though we never used it.
My review for Wells Fargo will touch on two areas, credit card accounts and check cashing. Fortunately, Pappa Bear and I do not bank at this institution in either checking or savings, so I have no direct experience with their ineptitude in anything more ...

Pros: online banking, branches available everywhere, some with extended hours Cons: high fees, terrible service, frequent mistakes, attitude in general
I've dealt with Wells Fargo many times, thinking that perhaps my experience would be different from city to city. Silly me. (I guess I'm a glutton for punishment). No matter what city I was in, the experience was remarkably the same. I've had...

Pros: Lots, please read my review Cons: They're one of the mega-banks
Don't get me wrong, I have had my difficulties with Wells Fargo. I became a Wells Fargo customer when they took over First Interstate. (It was a lot simpler than a few years prior when Sea-First (now BofA) took over American Savings Bank of Washington...

Pros: No problems, no unexpected fees, WF ATMs are everywhere, OneLook website Cons: Closed secondary account w/o warning for non-use
I thought I'd start off my reviews at Epinions with a review of one the most important service providers in a person's life, their bank. My parents used another bank a long time ago. They were dissatisfied with it once it became larger, and not to ...

Pros: easy to access Cons: slow e-mail response
I love Wells Fargo Online banking. It is easy to sign up and very easy to navigate. I can usually log in on the first attempt. I can check balances on all my accounts (except certificates of deposits). Funds can be transferred from one account to the...

Pros: CALM UNDER GREAT, GREAT PRESSURE Cons: I HAVE A NEW REGARD FOR THE TELLERS!
I have a new regard for the Wells Fargo Bank personnel! Yesterday, I went to Wells Fargo and got caught up in a bank robbery......robber, gun, ski mask and all! But, let me start this story from the beginning!
A man who comes into our store to...

Pros: They Haven't Killed Anyone...That We Know Of Cons: A Classic Example Of The "Haves" Dumping On The "Have Nots"
For a few short months in my life, I had banking bliss. While still in college, I, as well as the rest of the students of the University of Northern Colorado, was forced to open a checking account with Norwest, a notoriously evil and gigantic bank. UNC...

Pros: Terrific Service Cons: No idea how they treat actual customers
**Note: This will be a short and somewhat limited review. I'm not a customer of Wells Fargo, but I have used their services on several West Coast visits. This is the angle of the review.**
Wells Fargo has treated me very well as a...

Pros: None Cons: Poor customer service, aggravating errors
At first, I wondered if I was in the minority as a completely dissatisfied customer of this bank (formerly Norwest to me, now Wells-Fargo). However, after reading similar comments from other Wells-Fargo customers, I must share my personal experiences in...

Pros: Online banking and ATMs Cons: Tellers that think they have better things to do than take care of their customers; "flirty" male tellers (not MY idea of customer service!); no promptness involved with the main branch in dealing with serious account issues
I always cringe whenever I have to go inside to do my banking; and ever since I decided to open up my checking and saving accounts with Wells Fargo, I have found this decision was a bad one.
The other day, I had to go to my branch here in San...

Pros: no one I know will bank with them! Cons: disrespectful and inappropriate employees
Okay, I have to start out by saying I do not bank at this bank, nor does anyone I know. After you read this epinion, you may understand why!
I am an Occupational Therapist and work with people who have acquired brain injuries. Part of my job...

Pros: Decent online services Cons: Impersonal service, sky-high fees
Wells Fargo is one wac-monkey, big-azz bank. That is the beginning and end of everything that should be said about them. The pros of using them stem from the ubiquity of the Wells Fargo ATMs and the quality of their online services, but the cons come...

Pros: Online Banking integrated with Quicken Cons: Abysmal customer service; high fees, a California bank with a poor attitude
In 1999, Wells Fargo was the only bank offering online banking with Quicken in Wash. State, and SeaFirst/BofA was WAYYY behind the times, so I switched. It took over 8 weeks of struggling to get a linked checking and savings account opened and ready to...
