Pros: Easy way to send money Cons: You have to give your bank info
Of all the money sending services on the net, I like Billpoint the best.
Like Paypal, Billpoint is a way to send and receive payment via the internet even credit card payments. You will pay a fee (after their promotion is over) for this...

Pros: Quick and Easy Cons: Seller's fee for each payment
Now, all I see is negative critics to Billpoint, well let me tell you my case.

Pros: eBay's payment system; Accepts credit card accounts Cons: Expensive; Transfers do take time
For a number of years now, Paypal has dominated the e-mail-based payment system. It has been a godsend to many of us who have items to auction. It has thousands of users. (Please take a look at my review of Paypal!). In 1999, Paypal partnered with...

Pros: international buyers can use Cons: eats up mor of your profit.
I signed up for billpoint just because I was curious and thought it might help my international sales. So far in 2 months, 7 people have tired to pay me with billpoint. 3 have been successful. The other people got the typical Ebay run around and...

Pros: save a $1 for each transaction if you sign up your VISA Cons: a bit time consuming
NOTE: This epinion is from a buyer's point of view only. I haven't had any experience with this service from a seller's point of view.
I initially heard about Billpoint when I was browsing some ebay auctions. A seller had Billpoint's...

Pros: International payments, transaction summaries, creates an invoice Cons: Expensive, there are free alternatives
Billpoint is an online billing and payment system that allows Ebay buyers to pay sellers securely and easily. But why should sellers pay Billpoint's fees when they can accept payments for free through PayPal and other services?
The...

Pros: integrated with Ebay Cons: fees, fees, and more fees
Billpoint has one main advantage that gives it an edge over EVERYONE: its alliance with Ebay. If you're a serious seller on Ebay, and you want payment fast, this is definitely a good service. The PayMe logo (if you selected Instant Payment at the start...

Pros: Conveniently bundled with Ebay Cons: Bully tactics to wipe out competition
As an avid user of Ebay, I have used Billpoint many times. I find it convenient to use as it is bundled with Ebay and provides your bidder fast access to "checkout" and pay for their auctions with a credit card or online check. However the downfall to...

Pros: Ease of use Cons: Cost to sellers
Billpoint works fine - but that's not the point.
As far as ease of use I would have to say that Billpoint, on eBay at least , is easier to use for sellers and buyers. However, it costs the seller money. There you have it in a nutshell. I have...

Pros: eBay sponsored. Cons: eBay sponsored.
As a long time eBayer, I kept seeing that BillPoint logo up in the corner and kept wondering what it was all about. When I finally looked inside, I decided that the price was too high. I subsequently joined PayPal, which has filled my needs, and then...

Pros: Seems like an up and up company unlike Paypal. They use precautions. Cons: Not cautious enough. They don't verify physical addresses of regristrants. Invoicing Problems. Embarrassing email policy.
I don't Paypal or Billpoint that much, but I'll do my best to make this a brief informative picture of Billpoint.
SECURITY PROBLEMS OR SLOPPY BANKING
Billpoint in the past month, emailed my customers with invoices that do not match...

Pros: None! Cons: Charge fees for something you can get for free!
Billpoint is just another way for Ebay to get their greedy little hands on more of our money. Billpoint is a way for Ebay sellers to accept credit card payments - but Billpoint charges the SELLER fees to make it convenient for the buyers.
I...
