Pros: save a $1 for each transaction if you sign up your VISA Cons: a bit time consuming
NOTE: This epinion is from a buyer's point of view only. I haven't had any experience with this service from a seller's point of view.
I initially heard about Billpoint when I was browsing some ebay auctions. A seller had Billpoint's...

Pros: ebay Cons: customer service, charges, billbacks
I am disgusted with BillPoint and will be leaving as soon as I get my payment. The e-bay auction ended 2 weeks ago. I received an email stating that I would see payment in my checking account within a couple days.
Immediately, I sent...

Pros: Absolutely NOTHING! Cons: Poor customer service & Everything else!
I recently opened an account with Billpoint approximately 3 weeks ago hoping that I had found an alternative to PAYPAL. I just started selling things on EBay and was looking for a slightly more convenient way to get my money besides PAYPAL and boy was I...

Pros: None! Cons: Charge fees for something you can get for free!
Billpoint is just another way for Ebay to get their greedy little hands on more of our money. Billpoint is a way for Ebay sellers to accept credit card payments - but Billpoint charges the SELLER fees to make it convenient for the buyers.
I...

Pros: None Cons: When Billpoint takes several days to process a deposit, what do they do?
In April 2001, I sold a Playstation 2 unit on EBay. I was foolish enough to use Billpoint, thinking that I would have a better chance to sell it if I allowed the buyers to pay with a chargecard. A buyer bought the Playstation and asked that I ship it...

Pros: Seemed good at first. Cons: Chargeback ripoff. They blatantly lied to me in email and on the telephone.
They blatantly lied to me in email and on the telephone.
After sending me a letter informing me I was going to have a chargeback because the person paid twice. This was over 3 months after the end of the auction.
I faxed them proof...

Pros: Seems like an up and up company unlike Paypal. They use precautions. Cons: Not cautious enough. They don't verify physical addresses of regristrants. Invoicing Problems. Embarrassing email policy.
I don't Paypal or Billpoint that much, but I'll do my best to make this a brief informative picture of Billpoint.
SECURITY PROBLEMS OR SLOPPY BANKING
Billpoint in the past month, emailed my customers with invoices that do not match...

Pros: None as the cons so badly outweigh any pros Cons: Irresponsible and sloppy
BILLPOINT does not verify credit card information. BILLPOINT will tell the seller a name and address which has nothing whatsoever to do with the true credit card holder's identity. And, if you ship to the NAME and ADDRESS which Billpoint gave you,...

Pros: Easy way to send money Cons: You have to give your bank info
Of all the money sending services on the net, I like Billpoint the best.
Like Paypal, Billpoint is a way to send and receive payment via the internet even credit card payments. You will pay a fee (after their promotion is over) for this...

Use billpoint only if you want to waste your money, that is my opinion. I didn’t realize ebay started automatically putting a check mark next to billpoint's online payment service. I never accepted billpoint before and never will again.out of 3...

Pros: It's free to buyers Cons: Takes a long time to deposit funds, unorganized, customer service - not good.
When I first started using Billpoint I had one problem after the other. My customers couldn't put in their shipping amounts, since this was different for each customer.
It took forever for deposits to be made to my account.

Pros: Ebay backing Cons: bad service and No phone number to contact with
In Oct. I won an auction and I paid through Billpoint. I always pay whichever method the seller wants. The seller let me know that she had been paid. I noticed on my checking account that a payment was made to Billpoint on 10/18/01. On 11/15/01 I...
