Pros: seamless, FREE, easy-to-use, practical, convenient, fast Cons: takes 3-5 days to complete wired transactions, over a week for mailed checks, $500 spending cap
Even thought I have only been a member of PayPal for about 3 days now, I am an enormous fan of this truly revolutionary service. I heard murmurs about it months ago but ignored the invitational e-mail thinking I'd never use it.
Since...

Pros: Simple, broadly usable payment processing service. Cons: Owned by less-than-reputable Ebay.

Pros: free, secure, accepts credit card or bank draft Cons: none yet
I love to surf auction sites. I admit to being hooked on the anticipation of the last minute bidding war. I love it when the postman rings the bell and drops off those wonderful blue and white priority boxes for me! I love it!
But I don't...

Pros: Ease of use, fast service, good things to come. Cons: Small service fee if you opt for the deluxe services.
At present, I am using Bidpay, Billpoint, and PayPal, so I have something of a basis for comparing and recommending online payment services. For my money (yeah, a groaner!) PayPal is the clear winner by comparison, and on its own.
PayPal is...

I saw the ad on ebay.com--sign up and receive $10! Sounds great--a secure way to pay for auctions, and a free $10--where do I sign up?
Well, in order to get the $10, you have to register at least one credit card. That's...
