Pros: **Allows Sellers to Receive Quick Payment**
**Allows Buyers to Make a Quick, Easy Payment** Cons: **Fees are high**
I originally joined Paypal so that when I made a purchase on Ebay I could quickly pay for it. It was quick and easy. And it did not cost me anything to use it. Then, I began selling on Ebay to make a little extra $$$ since I quit my job to stay home with ...

Pros: Spending money is efficient. You can pay within minutes of winning an auction on eBay. Cons: Cash and identity are at risk, and PayPal doesn't want to hear from you.
PayPal advertises 5.2% interest of funds in your PayPal account but I suspect most people never see it. It sounded like a good place to keep money and I was getting ready to transfer several thousand dollars. Then I read people's experiences of having ...

Pros: A Free, Fast, Secure, and Easy way to use your credit card in person-to-person. Cons: None really.....but wouldn't this be a great way to pay for things at a store (by beaming your money through your Palm organizer?)
The future is here, and it's name is PayPal! So, what is PayPal all about you ask? Well basically, PayPal is an online service that lets you use your cedit card (Visa/Mastercard) in online transactions with friends, family, or anyone that you owe/owes...

Pros: Ease of use, widely accepted by auction site users Cons: Chargebacks, lawsuits, lack of regulation and FDIC Insurance
Personally, I am sorry that I encouraged others to sign up for this service and will not do business with this service again. The risks are just outweighed by the convenience.
If you want the rest of the story, sit back with a cup of java and...

Pros: Easily get attracted to use it. You think you will be safe....save you time.... Cons: You're not any of the above...somewhere down the line you will get screwed.
I've been a Paypal customer for about 6 years now ever since Ebay made them so popular and eventually bought them out. At first it was a dream come true! No more going the bank for MO's to send to the sellers and worrying about whether or not they have ...

Pros: I've never had a problem with Paypal. Cons: But X.com, which owns Paypal, is a sleazy company
Those who don't know their history are doomed to repeat it.
A Paypal/X.com History Lesson
Paypal and X.com were born together. The two start-ups began independently in the same building. Paypal was intended to offer...

Pros: Free! $5 sign-up bonus! Convenient Cons: Requires personal information; Very slow during peak hours.
PayPal! It was the perfect solution for making payments as an Ebay buyer. I simply do not want to make payments using a money order or cashier's check. Also, I prefer the ease of making payments online, using my Discover or Master Card. When PayPal came...

Pros: Free Money...Big Money Cons: $1000 Max ....oh no!
When I recently discovered PayPal, I was totally shocked at how easy this was. One of the few things on the web that is a better way to make money than Epinions is PayPal. First, you are wondering "What is PayPal?". Well, it is simply a way...

If you read my epinion on winning your eBay bids, then this will be of interest to you as an auction buyer. It will also interest all of you auction sellers in the fact that you can be paid SECONDS after your auction has ended. I am talking...

Pros: Quick, painless money transfer for auction sales and purchases Cons: Scavenging the pieces of their cousin (X.com) and not doing it well.
First there were two fine—and separate—financial services organizations: X.com, the online bank and mutual fund company, and PayPal, the online auction payment service. Both began in the last year or so and offered generous bonuses just for signing up....

Pros: Fast, easy and referral bonuses Cons: None yet.
As both a seller and buyer on Ebay, I had seen many ads for both Paypal and X.Com. After checking both out, I chose to join Paypal.com (I decided against X.com because they required a social security number to register). I have since learned that Paypal...

Pros: Up to $1000.00 in referral bonuses, backed by a great online bill payment system. Cons: It makes eBay and other online auctions too easy to use.
PayPal.com is making online auctions very user friendly. Too user friendly for me. I have been able to avoid certain auctions simply because they didn't take credit cards so it just wouldn't be convenient to do the deal. Well no more! Enter...

Pros: Very convenient way to send and recieve money! Cons: None
I found PayPal when I won an auction from a lady on Ebay who asked me if I would like to pay that way. I signed up in moments and went to pay the lady for the auction. It took me 10 seconds! I am not kidding. Then the lady was able to mail me my item...
