Pros: Professional, Courteous, Reliable, Excellent Service Cons: Monthly Fee after trial period, credit card incompatibility
If you've read any of my credit advice, you'll know that the easiest way to trash your credit and end up with a lot of extra fees and higher APRs is to make late payments. With the huge array of bills we get every month, it's no wonder how we can lose...

Pros: Electronic Check Writing, No more lost bills Cons: Monthly Fee (but worth it)
Have you ever been really busy, snagged the mail, glanced at once, "bills, bills, junk, bills ..." and then lost one of those bills? I know I saw it come in a few days ago, where could it be? In the kitchen, the bathroom, under the front seat...

Pros: Links of bank account and Quicken, no more paper bills, lots of features, flexible bill pay scheduling Cons: Worry about whether it will stay in business, not all banks now linked to its service
All-in-one online bill paying might be the best idea for an Internet service yet. When I heard my first radio ad for Statusfactory, I turned up the volume. No more bills in the mail! None! Ever! Just amazing.
In what I consider a...

Pros: Receives bills, doesn't just pay them. Nice for archiving bills. Cons: Doesn't take responsibility for their errors nor help to correct problems caused by those errors.
I've been a Paytrust customer for over three years, and until recently was recommending them highly. However, in the past month they have made two errors on my account and they refused to take any responsibility or offer any assistance in resolving the ...

Pros: EVERYTHING Cons: Scanned legibility, no Quicken download functionality
I've been using this service for a year and I am extremely pleased with it. I must cut 20 checks a month so it is really worth it to me. Here's how it works:
You (or Paytrust) informs your billers of your new address and all your bills are now...

Pros: Scans in bills for viewing via internet. Cons: Do not follow user instructions. Customer service does not respond.
Paytrust recently upgraded their service. The conversion has not gone well. The service was reliable but now has made a number of sufficiently dangerous blunders that I must now look for an alternative to the Paytrust service. In the past my ...

Pros: less mail, simpler, no stamps Cons: some mail other than bills from your billers goes to Paytrust too, and has to be forwarded by them to you
I went to Paytrust because my bills were a mess. They came in at all different times of the month, were due all different times of the month, and since I didn't have one central place to keep them, got scattered all over the place. With Paytrust's...

Pros: First-rate customer service, totally reliable bill pay service Cons: none
I rarely award 5 starts to any product or service, and I'm a pretty critical person who can always find something to complain about. But not this time.
I've been using PayTrust for three years. They've never made a single mistake (such as...

Pros: Easy, fast, dependable way to pay bills! No more stamps! Cons: Monthly fee is higher than other bill paying services (although it may be worth a few dollars for great support, etc)
I was first drawn to Paytrust after a few late bills and upon noticing their "first 3 months free" promotion. This was before Yahoo! BillPay and the like became popular, and while they might be cheaper, I have my doubts that they are as...

Pros: Bills paid on time-no fuss-no postage Cons: Can you trust your ID on the internet?
I’m coming out of the closet. I must explain that I felt some shame in putting my trust into an online bill paying system. With great trepidation, I read, I thought, I rethought and with a shudder of shame decided to give Paytrust a try. I had all...

Pros: none --- I just asked for info and got a major headache Cons: don't let this happen to you!
In MY humble opinion, most of the opinions on PayTrust are OVER Rated! PayTrust delivered a HEADACHE to me. Not worth it at all!
I was surfing the net and signed up with PayTrust --- or, more accurately, I signed up to get more INFORMATION...

Pros: easy to use, simple to setup, time saving and useful Cons: somewhat expensive
As life became more and more hectic and I found myself travelling quite a bit more, it became increasingly difficult to manage my bills and payments effectively. I'd read a newspaper article that covered the latest trends in online bill payment services...

Pros: Makes paying bills easy Cons: High prices, hidden fees, radical change in TOS without notifying customers. Avoid this service
I have just updated my opinion on the paytrust service. They remain a good way to manage bills online, but several developments have seriously affected the overall quality and value of the service.
Cost: The internet bubble has burst, and it...

Pros: fast easy accurate way to pay your bills - organizes and alerts you when bills are due and have been paid. Cons: wish I had signed up sooner
Finally getting and paying my bills has become oh so easy and dare I say fun. I swear you get that notice in your email that a bill is due or has been paid you almost want to say, "oh, why thank you." It's surely not as obnoxious as getting...

Pros: Simple, effective, accurate and functional Cons: Poor site performance, slight lag in posting bills
Against my wife's wishes, who prefers to handle bills the old fashioned way, I chose to investigate and take a chance at trying an online bill payment service. For some time, I had occasionally used the on-line bill payment service provided by our bank,...
