Pros: Low to no fee on just about everything. Cons: Low to no speed on everything else.
Like I have already stated in my Ameritrade review, I like everything about Ameritrade except its slightly high options commission and margin rates. So I started shopping around for an online brokerage (OLB) that had a low margin rate and/or a low...

Pros: cheap, easy to use, requires only $100 before you make your first trade Cons: no bells and whistles
We started with Suretrade just over a year ago - we were new to trading and had a lot to learn. We didn't want to spend too much per trade so we ignored the bad rating we had seen on the site and went ahead and opened an account.
I think...

Pros: CHEAP cheap cheap cheap Cons: site sucks, site is slow, limited service
Wow. Well the $7.95 trades ARE a nice deal. I must admit. But lordy! The site is slow, and of low quality. Things simply DON'T WORK! I have had the site crash my computer a few times, and sometimes I simply can't even get through (p.s. it's not my modem...

Pros: inexpensive, good features, fairly easy to use, good support Cons: sometime slow navigation in Suretrade web pages
I originally chose suretrade because of their low commission: $7.95 a trade. Suretrade has really worked well for me. The low commission keeps my profits in my pocket instead of making slightly profitable trades not profitable at all.
Features...

Pros: Good customer service; low trading charges Cons: Trading functionality was not reliable one or two times; there are better sites for a few more bucks
I've been using SureTrade for about a year and a half. I'm not a day trader, nor an avid stock watcher (although I tracked stocks every day when I started up with SureTrade). I decided to sign up for the service primarily for convenience and cost...

Pros: good live on line support Cons: difficult to navigate, website not very reliable on heavy days
We opened an account with SureTrade late last year. I tried to do it on line and had such trouble navigating the site that I had to do it via snail mail. After that settled down we started to try and trade but wrong again. The website is the single most...

Pros: $7.95 a trade is cheap / easy to use / reliable Cons: VERY slow at times / system somewhat buggy
When I first started using SureTrade about a year ago, I ran into some problems. I placed a "Buy" order, but it was not carried out until the stock price had risen considerably, and past the range that I had to purchase the stock.

Pros: Price, customer service, security Cons: Brokers personal advice
As a college student with limited funds, many major online brokers refused to let me trade. With sure trade, however, you simply send a cashier's check and within 2-3 business days, the funds are ready to be used on the internet.
And the best part...

Pros: cheap above $2 commission Cons: not good communication with clients
Suretrade.com was the financial cite that I chose to start my investing endeavors, however, now I regret it. Sure they have the lowest per charge that I can find at $7.95, but what they forget to tell you is that if you choose a stock under $2 then your...

Pros: They provide the basics necessary for online trading Cons: Misleading pricing, S-L-O-W website response, lack of good real-time account information, etc.
I have been trading online for almost 2 years now. I started with eTrade based on a word-of-mouth recommendation but when SureTrade came on the scene at half the price, I jumped. Big mistake.
At first, my trading volume was extremely low and...

Pros: CHEAP, GREAT customer service Cons: Needs better graphics and research controls
Suretrade was the cheapest out of any of the online brokerages per trade. This fact alone makes it very appealing. At 7.95 per trade, it's a lot better than the 35 per trade at Schwab. Granted, Schwab offers investment advice, but when you're a college...

Pros: Cheap, easy to use, GREAT free live help Cons: Trouble loading frames, canceling orders
I'm 18. A new investor, and I don't have alot to spend. When I went on the brokerage search, all I knew is that I didn't want to be spending $25 per trade. I read message boards and talked to people and heard about Suretrade and decided to look into...

Pros: None whatsoever Cons: the list is too long
Suretrade.com was the very first company I had ever done stock transactions with. I chose it mainly for their low trading fee of $7.95, but they neglect to tell you that Nasdaq orders carry a $9.95 fee (o.k. is not that big a deal, but they should...

Pros: Cheap, Simple, Easy Cons: NONE for me
UPDATE:
Effective March 3, 2001 Suretrade was consolidated into Quick and Reilly.
The consolidation was HORRIBLE.
- First, we were given only 30 days notice. Not a lot of
time to research and find new companies....
