Pros: Bricks and Mortar bank also, but little consolation!
    Cons: Customer Service is terrible

Summary: I selected Citi/fi as my Internet bank since they were also associated with CitiBank. I must say, that every experience that I had with Citi/fi was horrendous. They are extremely slow when processing large deposits. They offered to rectify the ... read more

Pros: decent accounts, name recognition, money market rate
Cons: only standard fare, poor web site, closed down now

Summary: I admit... a started my Citi F/I account because they gave me $100, plus I was away at college at the time, and had been mailing my deposits and checking my balances over the phone that whole time anyway, so I figured a Net Bank made a lot of sense. I ... read more

    Pros: convenience, brand name
    Cons: shoddy service, uncompetitive product

Summary: As a Citibank customer in multiple countries and products, I leapt at the chance to open the Citifi account when it became available four months ago - here was a chance to enjoy the security of the Citibank brand combined with the ability to do most of ... read more

Pros: Courteous Customer Service, User-friendly Interface, Free Bill Payment, High Interest Money Market Account
Cons: Delayed Bill Payment Once, Messed Up Register Once, Taking Forever to Convert from Citi f/i to CitibankOnline

Summary: I received an invitation to join Citi f/i with a startup bonus of $100 in my account. I took it up and was very happy with their service till they screwed up one of my bill payments to my DLJ brokerage account. I had to bear the late fees of $15 for ... read more

    Pros: None
    Cons: High fees, difficult access

Summary: Well, it seems as though Citif/i is going away. Probably a good thing...I wouldn't recommend the service. The account fees for this service were absurdly high - $5 a month if you had less than $1000 in your account. I would have thought ... read more

    Sep 4, 2000
Pros: None, now that they've dropped the ball on customers
Cons: Bad customer service, poorly designed website

Summary: Citibank, apparently, has decided that it can't make money with Citi f/i, so it is replacing it with a new service: www.citibankonline.com. As someone living abroad and letting his parents collect his mail at home, I had no idea this was going on until ... read more

Pros: Free Plam Pilot, online account viewing
    Cons: Average customer service

Summary: Citi f/i banking is both a welcome relief and an agonizing trip. I have no problem dealing with people over the phone or even automated service so I decided to start an account with Citi f/i (that and a free Palm Pilot). I've been pleased and ... read more

Pros: Great benefits, easy to use
Cons: Customer service not always up to par

Summary: Citi f/I is the online bank that has been created by Citibank. I first found out about it from a postcard that they sent out to everyone in my area. It offered $50.00 to sign up and keep a checking account for three months. Being the cheap person that ... read more
