Pros: Free checking with Intreast! CS is Great! Cons: Sometimes Mailed deposits take long to post.
Net.Bank Has been very good to me and seeing the horror stories(many from former Compubank users) makes think the transtion didn't go that well.
I joined Net.Bank about a year ago, perhaps when they were smaller, and was amazed how internet...

Pros: None - It's hard to say something nice when I cannot access my account. Cons: They do not have Mac-compatible access to their website.
I used to have bank accounts with CompuBank. They were recently taken over by NetBank. I never gave this a thought. I figured NetBank would be able to pick up and take over the same way CompuBank had.
I was dead WRONG!
After the...

Pros: Convenient online interface Cons: Customer service and company contact nonexistent
NetBank bought out CompuBank, where I had an account that I was quite pleased with. Shortly after becoming a NetBank customer, I had a rather urgent problem with my ATM card, and needed to contact the company quickly. I called their phone number 10...

Pros: haven't found any yet Cons: lots - it's not CompuBank
I finally found the perfect online bank - CompuBank - and then it got bought out by NetBank. The involuntary account transfer took place on 5/12, and already I'm worried about my money.
I withdrew $200 at an ATM the day before the transfer -...

Pros: Good rates, Low opening req., no minimums Cons: Sometime slow web server
I've been a Netbank customer for about a year. Originally I was trying to find good CD rates on the web to park some cash for about 6 months when I spotted NetBank's Money Market account.
While I have heard some complaints from some people...

Pros: Ease of opening account; ease of making deposits by mail; good interest rate Cons: Customer service reps apathetic; no follow-through; no accountability for their errors
I've been a customer of Netbank for a few years and never had a problem until now -- but now I want the world to know about my experience and beware. I have a money market account with Netbank. In July, I wrote a $1,900 check from my Wachovia ...

Pros: ease of use Cons: a bit slow
I signed up with NetBank through Gomez.com just to get the $50 incentive, but I think I'll actually start using Netbank as a primary bank. Of all the internet banks (I signed up for 3), this one was the easiest and most reliable one to work with....

Pros: I really don't have anything pleasant to say about them. Cons: Extremely poor customer relations! Deceptive banking methods.
I never desired to be a NetBank customer. I was a CompuBank client until NetBank bought them out. During the takeover it was impossible to access my account and when the buyout finally happened I was promised the world of banking opportunities.
The...

Pros: Cheap (but not when you count the float!) Cons: No service, poor systems reliability, no technical support, unable to keep resolved issues resolved
Netbank is cheap and loaded with cute features but most of them do not work: their online account center is unreliable, doesn't update external account balances and worst of all: your funding drawdowns (i.e. funding your netbank dda from an external dda) ...

Pros: Easy system, tight integration with financial software. Cons: Very Poor Customer Service
I just wanted to warn people of a recent problem I have had with Netbank. About a month ago, I noticed a deposit correction posted to my account. I have never made a mistake in a deposit, but somehow, Netbank posted a $100 correction to my account. ...

Pros: none at all Cons: biggest mistake of my life
Netbank is the biggest bunch of crooks I have ever had the misfortune to run across. This bank stole seventy five dollars from me so far,and they are not done yet.

Pros: convenient banking when it works Cons: Worst customer service I have EVER encountered. Absolutely no accountability and decrepit management.
I had been a Netbank customer for probably 5 or 6 years and everything was great until recently. In this time, I have depended on Netbank's e-bill service to receive my various credit card statements and pay in a timely manner. Suddenly, over the last ...

Pros: None, run away as fast as you can. Cons: Bad Customer Service; inept order entry people; lack of ATMs
I sent a Quickpost deposit to NetBank using their Quickpost option. That is, I went to the local UPS Store and sent the deposit for no charge through their overnight system. I sent the deposit on Tuesday, and a "Baily" signed for on Wednesday morning. ...
