Pros: Works fine for plain vanilla banking. Cons: Just pray you never need customer service... because you will.
Here's a copy of my blog on the matter: Ok. Katie and I have decided that we definitely do not like netbank anymore. We've written a netbank review. A review of netbank. (That's for google to pick up!) Netbank is a good concept, and it works well as lo ...

Pros: Low fees, pays interest, integration with Quicken, Yahoo finance, MSN money plus and the like Cons: Somewhat lengthy hold on ATM deposits
(2nd Update): I just found out that many banks in the neighborhood accept deposits for Netbank. It works very well, and 100$ of the deposits are immediately credited, the rest is available after 5 business days. This was one of the last negative thing ...

Pros: Free e-pay to any payee. Free if used carefully. Easy User Interface. Account consolidation service. Cons: Do not value loyal customers. Worsened customer service. Need careful planning to avoid the fees.
I have been a loyal customer of Net Bank since 1997. In fact, Net Bank is my very first Internet bank. I remember the good old days when they were still a small company and they still gave each customer personalized attention. However, their service has ...

Pros: Great rates Cons: Really poor customer service, mediocre services and unreasonable fees.
Shortly after becoming a Quicken junky, I figured switching to a bank that provided better on-line services would make my life just a little easier. I saw all the nifty little offers and ads from NetBank that came with Quicken, and figured I'd give them...

Pros: Online check images. Back statements online. ATM deposits. Postage free deposits. Cons: Poor and impersonal customer service. An inflexible "that's our policy" way of doing business.
DIFFERENT PEOPLE, DIFFERENT PRIORITIES
It's difficult to write a review for an online bank because people are looking for different qualities in a bank. In order to make this simple for you, I hope to help you understand a little...

Pros: Rates, but they steal it all back, the criminal rednecks that they are. Cons: Thieving, Lying, Incompetence, Criminal - GONE!
NetBank's not a good bank. I'm going to write a funny review about just how bad it is. I hope you enjoy it. UPDATE: ING had promised that NetBank's site would be back up at 5 PM Sunday for customers to resume regular banking activities. Then they ...

Pros: Good sign up bonuses. Cons: EXTREME fees. No brick and mortar outlets. Uncompetitive savings yields.
UPDATE 10/30/07 As of October 2007, Netbank has been bought out by ING Direct. I suppose Netbank running itself out of existence was inevitable given how poorly the company's strategy had been. ING offers better rates and fewer hassles for ...

Pros: Great interest rate Cons: no ATM machines; started charging for checks
When first my husband suggested using an Internet based bank I looked at him like he was crazy. This was even before they changed their name to Net B@nk and were Atlanta Internet B@nk. I suggested we go into it ...

Pros: A great rate, much higher than traditional banks. Cons: Nice people, but they sometimes seem clueless.
Ok, here's my problem.
I have been trying to fund my account at Netbank since the beginning of January. I actually opened this account in November and because I never received a Welcome Kit, I forgot all about it. Out of sight, out of...

Pros: Free Checking, Free Online Billpay, Low Minimum Balance Requirements Cons: If you like branch-banking, they don't have any
I have been a customer of NetBank for approximately four years now, and I've been pretty happy with them. In my opinion, they are strictly a "self-service" bank. It is up to you to review their website and find out what the rules are, and how to ...

This was my first Epinion - completely re-written and updated on 11/24/2003 Why NetBank? NetBank (Nasdaq: NTBK), the nation's first commercially successful internet-only bank, opened its virtual doors in February of 1996. On the ...

Pros: Excellent interest rates. Minimal fees. Cons: Average (at best) customer service.
Unlike the "knee jerk" reviews written by those who are short-term customers with exceptional problems, this review comes from a NetBank customer of over two years. So pay attention: NetBank bank has its place, but it isn't for everyone. If you're looking ...

Pros: -Easy online banking interface
-Higher than average account yields Cons: -Online interface is not cutting-edge
-Yields are no longer industry-leading
Review originally dated 8 February 2007: I've been a customer of NetBank since 1999, well ahead of the popularity of internet-only banking. The reasons why I decided to open up an account at NetBank were because of the following: -High yield money ...

Pros: Lure of no fees and good interest Cons: Slow deposits, lousy funds availability, internet banking access only worked sometimes, poor telephone service
For those who think opening an account with NetBank is easier than with a major REAL bank - think again! I opened a business checking account with NetBank for my personal corporation. I run six figures through this account and liked the idea of ...
