Pros: Free checking, checks, auto bill pay and 3.9% interest. Cons: No convenient way to cash "emergency" checks.
When I first heard of NetBank, I was very skeptical. The thought of not being able to go into a local bank to get funds was kind of frightening. Now, after about a year of being with NetBank, I couldn't be happier.
My account was set up...

Pros: Online Bill-Pay, High Rates Cons: Extremely Poor (almost non-existent) Customer Service, Very Shoddy Website
Yes, NetBank may be alluring with such high interest rate returns. Maybe it sounds trustworthy because it is "the largest online bank in America." Don't let numbers fool you. Just because you get high rates does not mean you get a good deal. And just...

Pros: Free bill pay, high interest rates Cons: Not worth the poor customer service
I am writing this because they delivered a straw that broke the camel's back. Recently NetBank upgraded to a new system and required customers to change username and password. Now that I need to access my Money Market account...I can't! It is "hidden". ...

Pros: Interest rates. Bill pay. Cons: Thinks my money belongs to them.
I have been a customer of Netbank for 5 years. I haven't had many problems until now. I recently have put $500 cash down on a vehicle I am purchasing from a private party. I had 7 days to pay the other $8500. I thought this would be no problem. I ...

Pros: Good MMA and CD rates. Cons: Bring on promised services faster
Netbank is able to offer great rates on both MMAs and CDs.
I have been a customer for a year now. The site was a slow last summer when so many signed up with Netbank. But there have been a lot of improvements since then. (I have to laugh at some...

Pros: Interest Checking... Cons: HIGH hidden fees, Horrible Customer Service... "Perks" slowly being taken away..
I was a HUGE Netbank praiser the last few years... I could have multiple accounts, transfer between them without problems. I was gaining interest on my checking... and not a bad amount. No minimum fees, free ATM. It was great... but over the last...

Pros: none Cons: terrible customer service, long load times on website, forget about loading it on a Mac.
I opened an account with Netbank in the summer of 2001
to save money for my summer 2002 wedding. I opened
the account through a promotion offering $50 to open a
money market account. I made deposits without
incident and reached my...

Pros: Free Checking, no monthly charges Cons: No physical bank to walk into; cannot use to verify a PayPal account
I have been with Netbank since April of 2002, and have basically been happy with them. I originally had my account with CompuBank before Netbank took over. What I liked most is that I could maintain an account with very little money. My checking account ...

Pros: Free checking with interest
Free overnight deposits via UPS
Pretty good website overall Cons: Customer service
No branch to walk into if you have a problem.
I have had mixed experiences with Netbank. I initially chose them because, as a computer consultant, I do a lot of traveling and didn't want to deal with the hassle of trying to find a branch in whichever city I happened to be in. They do several ...

Pros: High Rate- though the fee will eat them back. Cons: Can't transfer money out, bad customer service, website unavailable & insecure
After shopping around and comparing rates and fees for quite some time, I was convinced that NetBank has the best deal-
1.5% interest for checking -no fee,
2.15% interest for Money Market account, no fee if >$250
(the rate was for jun...

Pros: Mailed monthly statement shows copies of cashed checks Cons: Horrible interface, system always down, no outstanding features
I am a big e-com fanatic, a professional web designer, and a business bootstrapper. I like to have seperate accounts for all my ventures, and I prefer to use different banks. I'm not paranoid, just don't like to have all my eggs in one basket....

Pros: Excellent interest rates.
Practically no fees.
Free bill pay service. Cons: Almost no ATM access.
Their web site is getting out of date.
I have had an account with NetBank for many years, and I have always been very impressed. I suppose it takes a certain mentality - approach the bank as a mechanized service, and be comfortable with that, although in the cases where I have needed some ...

Pros: A big chunk of miles for $10, if you mind all the details. Cons: Sketchy bank with bad customer service.
First, let me say that NetBank is not a very good bank. Their customer service is inept and their hidden fees verge on the fraudulent. Normally, I wouldn't recommend it as a place to put your money. However, they do have a really good promotion with ...

Pros: Interest on the checking, Good site functionality. Cons: Slow site, Poor interface, Poor customer service.
I've used Netbank (or NetB@nk as they like to call it) for around one year now, and would definitely not repeat the decision. Their site is slow, even with the 'hardware upgrade' they went through about 8 months ago. The interface is very poor, it's...

Pros: Good interest rate and no atm fees on their end. Cons: Their customer service is awful, your money is unsafe.
I started with Netbank about three years ago, and back then the service was great. They send me a statement every month in the mail. I would deposit my checks using the mailbox on my street corner at all hours of the night. Now anyone that can't go to...
