Pros: Many (see below) Cons: None
I had just received my monthly statement from my traditional, brick-and-mortar bank and was shocked to see how quickly the fees and charges added up. Then and there I decided to try online banking. Luckily, I decided on Wingspan. I highly recommend...

Pros: no monthly fee, interest on checking, ATM reimbursment Cons: no deposit via ATM
Wingspan bank is a really good bank! Me and my husband had two accounts with Bank Boston and lately they had been charging us a lot of money for every single thing we did. We were spending more than $150 per year for banking which did not seem to make...

Pros: ATM rebates, online bill pay, no fee checking Cons: Customer service slow and not helpful
I love this place. No, really, I do. I'm going to try to write this without sounding like a sales pitch.
Not your same old bank...
I was getting very tired of paying $15/month in ATM charges at my local bank (I'm never even near one of...

Pros: Customer service, low rates, ease of use Cons: Bonus program was terminated abruptly
While traveling last week I got a chance to check my email while staying with relatives in Boston. While sifting through the spam I came across a very interesting email from a friend letting me know about an unbelievable deal. For a limited time...

Pros: Easy to sign-up, check-card with no credit check Cons: EXPENSIVE! Too many fees!
At first it seemed like a good idea: open a checking account from the comfort of your computer, receive your check card and free checks in the mail...
Then, you get your first statement and discover that the free-direct deposit bank account...

Pros: Consolidated view of accounts (checking, CD, brokerage, credit card). Excellent product rates. Online checkwriting. Cons: ATM or snail-mail deposits. New rise in charges for accounts under $1500.
[ history ]
A common theme about my reviews is travel (I’ll be ranking the airlines soon). I’ve had about 10 mailing addresses (fewer living quarters) in the last 6 years. This has made me really appreciate having “virtual” services, which is...

Pros: Great sign up promo, high interest rates, reimbursement up to 5 bucks a month in ATM fees, free online bill pay service Cons: As with any internet bank no branches, relatively high minimum balance requirement on checking (1000), companies dont always accept their checks
I opened an account with Wingspanbank.com about a month ago in the midst of a promotion where they were giving you 100 dollars just to open a checking account. Never one to turn down free money, I said Sure!!!
This is my first experience with an...

Pros: online Cons: they lose things
I use to love these guys. I thought they were going to change the way america does banking, but then the lost one of my deposits. Because the transaction is handled through the mail I have no receipt. I have no proof, but I now have to chase the...

Pros: No more annoying trips to the post office, no more forgetting to send bills on time! Cons: Unbearably slow performance, Minor usability issues, don't try to be too smart with paying bills before the money is in the acct. This isn't like paper checking!
I was quite leary of online bill banking, but because of recommendations from a trusted friend, I went ahead and did it. Wow! Wow! I can't shut up about how great it is. There's no more buying stamps to pay bills, and the ability to pre-schedule bill...

Pros: Fast, Free, Convenient as heck Cons: No local deposits [see below]
...try Wingspan. As a college student, I tend to be broke. Wingspanbank.com loves me anyway.

Pros: no fees (that's about it) Cons: lack of concern for customers, no sense of urgency in crisis management situations.
As a New Yorker, I value my time, and having to wait in line to complete a basic banking transaction had become tiresome. So, after seeing WingSpanBank.con's heavy advertisement, I decided to give them a shot. My first few months with Wingspan were...
