Terrible Customer Service

Pros: discount on your car insurance, but then you pay a premium so it's a wash! Cons: Communication & customer service
Farmers Life Insurance has ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE customer service when dealing with the agents at the Mercer Island, WA office. They don't want to speak to you face to face when there is a question or issue about your policy and have to get "approval" to make an appointment. They expect any issues with your bank account to be sent via fax (including all your account information- you can't black anything out that you might not want to get into the wrong hands, etc.) and you can't personally bring it in anywhere. I tried get some questions answered for a week straight and every single person who answered the phone gave me a completely different answer & all told me different things I needed to do. They finally forwarded me to this lady that wouldn't return my phone calls until I had someone else call in my representation- she called him back immediately interestingly enough but couldn't return my phone calls once! I am so disgusted how they patronize & treat their customers I will never again put myself in this situation with this company.
