I've had a good experience with this company until it screwed me over on the payment. The dumb system will not deduct my monthly payment properly and would slap me with late fees. I called to correct the problem, and the same thing happened again, so I called to close the account. I've paid whatever I owed them through the phone and a month later, they sent me a bill through a collection agency saying that I owe them like $30. Customer service was friendly, but apparently they have a problem correcting a simple problem. The people that I've dealt with (more than five different people) were nice, but not the brightest folks.

I have Liberty Mutual renter's insurance, and so far, so good. My rep is very helpful and knowledgeable and I got a great monthly rate on the coverage I signed up for. Plus, I just got my engagement ring added onto my policy and it's very reasonable!

My vehicle was broken into and I claimed on my homeowners insurance.
Was treated like a piece of trash, lost over $1200 worth of property , I expected to lose my deductible $500, but they sent a check for $142, telling me that I should buy the property and they will send me the money after they receive the reciepts , I cannot do this as I cannot afford to in this present economic climate, so have lost out .
They were always saying how good they were (during California wildfires and Katrina) this was only because they had the TV cameras on them .
Have since spoken to a lot of people and Liberty Mutual have done the same to them when sadly they have had to claim. I wish I knew this out before I took my policy out for my car and home .
Ah well customer always suffers, so please be warned as I would not like anyone else to go through what we went through !!!!
