Great Credit Union for individuals residing in Florida by hjvillalobos ,Jan 01 '04
Pros: Good rates, great on-line & telephone banking, great service, ease of use and flexibility. Cons: Limited number of branches and a limited number of ATMs. Some on-line features are limited.
This is an awesome credit union with breadth of services matching larger banks. In addition, overall, their on-line banking is wonderful. Their telephone banking service is good too. Good customer service is the norm over the telephone and in-person. Never a problem except for a loan application that got lost. I got the loan elsewhere which cost them more than me. However, it was during the great re-financing craze, which overwhelmed all financial institutions, including where I got the loan. If you can join, it is worth it and you will like it. A minor negative is the number of branch locations, which is not that big a deal in today's age of technology. However, they are increasing the number of branch locations. Also, the fact that you can mail-in deposits or make deposits at Publix Presto's ATMs makes up for a lot of this minor inconvenience. Their E-Checking is great garnering .75% interest, no fees, and free 10 free ATM withdrawals at non-EFFCU ATMs.
Not Dependable, it's the worse bank ever by ppoiuytrew ,Dec 14 '07
Pros: They are not trustworthy Cons: Manager is worthless
Eastern Florida Financial Credit union still has my old card number in an active status. This bank voluntaryily offered a new card due to card numbers are being compromised. An unauthorized charge did go thru and Eastern Florida Financial Credit Union did nothing to protect my money, they still owe me and during this holiday season I felt like I was slapped in the face by my bank.
