I am a very busy person, and I find that dealing with Eglin Federal is nothing but a hassle. Each time I call for information, the bank representative tells me to call someone else for the information that I need. The reps on the 800 number rush my inquiry, and try to get me off the phone as quickly as possible. The conversation is usually something along these lines rep: "I cannot help you with that" me: "Do you know who can?" rep: "I don't know, sorry." It takes enough time out of my schedule to find their telephone number (if I'm calling locally), get all of my information together, and get someone on the telephone at the branch or on the 800 number. I have spoken to two reps this morning and still cannot get the informaiton that i need about my loan. I need a bank that will work with me to get things done, so that I can move on to the next thing on my list! If I wasn't so irritated right now, I would not have even taken the time to write this review. Sure feels good to get it off my chest!

Another reviewer points out that there are long lines at the auto tellers on the 1st and 15th. Use direct deposit.

If you bank online, Eglin FCU is great. I haven't been in a branch office for a couple of years.

They are also very helpful if you need quick information about your account and are not by the computer - the tellers are happy to help you on the phone rather than hand you off to a recording.

We have our savings, checking and car loan here and are pleased.

Pros: Good PC banking and low fees.
Cons: Long lines on military paydays.

Used them for 10 years.  Have alot of ATMs and branches.  Had two car loans with them and always got a low rate.  People are friendly.  Never had any problems.
