Pros: Great graphics, racing system, features to unlock, good sense of speed Cons: First cars control like crud, loading times, too frustrating at times
Summary: Intro: The Dreamcast has its fair share of great racing games. Vanishing Point (VP) is one of the games where it could have been something special, but ends up being an okay game. The one thing that bothers me is that VP had it all. The ... read more

Pros: somewhat realistic handling, excellent selection of real cars, can tune cars Cons: lack of immediate tuning, you can't choose which cars you want.
Summary: if you find it cheap, its definitly worth getting... i would say its a good medium between gran turismo and ridge racer... not quite as realistic as GT, but definitly more so then ridge racer, and the car selection is great, lots of real cars including ... read more

Pros: Graphics, things to unlock Cons: Hard to get started
Summary: As I was looking through the Dreamcast games at my local Blockbuster I was looking to pick out a game I had never really heard of before. Vanishing Point caught my eye, I checked out the back and the graphics encouraged me even more, so I thought to ... read more

Pros: Great graphics and movies, Awesome cars, Stunt Mode, FUN!!!! Cons: Little hard to steer at first but you'll get used to it quickly
Summary: This is by far, the best racing game for the dreamcast, whether you compare it to other realistic, or non realistic racing games. It's just awesome, with a lot of sports cars. Another thing- once you start playing stunt mode, you wont want to turn the ... read more

Pros: First Step Back To real World Racing Cons: The Traffics Gets In Your Way On Purpose When You Are Going 155
Summary: I remember back in the days of my Amiga 500 there was a racing game called Test Drive 2. Now don't think that TD2 has anything to do with its offspring, because it doesn't. The New ones suck, the old ones were the first real world racers. They were ... read more

Pros: Great Game, Once your invloved it is hard to stop Cons: Steering, price
Summary: I have owned Vanishing Point for Dream cast for almost four weeks. This game is a great game for racing buffs. Despite poor steering the game is fueled by a need to unlock over 3000+ new features in the game.

Pros: Possibly the best driving game ever. Cons: Takes a while to show its strengths. Not for the easily discouraged.
Summary: Like a few reviewers, I was initially a little dismayed when I first popped this game into the Dreamcast. The graphics were nice, but there were only two vehicles to choose from -- a Ford Explorer (aka Deathmobile 2000) and an a$$-heavy Mustang. ... read more

Pros: High replay value, good sense of speed. Cons: Physics are a little wacky, frustration level can get high.
Summary: Well, the Dreamcast has had its fair share of racers, good and bad. With releases like Test Drive: Le Mans 24hrs and Metropolis Street Racer, games like Vanishing Point will end up getting passed over for a higher profile racer. But to look this one ... read more
