Pros: Creative, challenging and just plain fun! Cons: Addictive!
I have always been interested in these types of games, especially Sim games (ie Sim Tower, Sim City, etc.). So when I got word of The Sims I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. And when it arrived, I wasn't the least bit disappointed...

Pros: It is seriously addictive. Cons: Look above.
I wasn't really expecting to like this game. I thought, "This game can't possibly be any fun! Oh joy, i get to sit around and watch computer generated people walk around." Boy, was i ever wrong.
After you get through the set-up process, There...

Pros: Do you like being God? Do Ya Cons: What time is it?
If anyone has played Simcity, which most people with a computer have, then the sims is right up your alley. I based getting this game on the maxis site my wife saw. We then went out and purchased the game.
When you first start out you...

Pros: First Life Simulation; I'm Enthralled Cons: Boring, Time Consuming, No Breaks, Many Flaws, NO POINT, ANNOYING PEOPLE, Speak JIBBERISH
I got this game the day it came out, after reading article after article of people raving about its potential. It was a seemingly great idea after all, controlling an entire family, simulating an entire life. So I bought it and played is constantly for...

Pros: Addictive, cheap, uses the web to help get new stuff!! Cons: Addictive, Addictive, Addictive, and your sims have no weekends
I always like game simulations, but "The Sims" from Maxis takes it to a new level. Maxis has always had carved a niche in simulation games, starting with Sim City and the 2000 and finally 3000. Sim Earth, Life, Planet, etc. Well with almost...

Pros: Good graphics.... fun for a few days Cons: Worst replay value ever
A few months ago I got this game when I was waiting for Age of Kings: the Conquorers Expansion (best game ever) to come out. I looked around at the store for a few minutes and decided this looked cool. I had been told this game was awesome from some...

Pros: Real life with a start over button Cons: Too much like real life
Interesting. That is the one word which jumps to mind as soon as I played The Sims. I couldn't get over the awsome concept of making an entire life from creating a person, building a house, choosing a job and taking control of this person to live the...

Pros: Interesting Concept; Fun to Start; Tons of Options Cons: Get's Repetive; Becomes Annoying
I got the sims around June 2000 and became absoutely taken away in the game. It was like living a life which I hadn't ever had a chance to. I could do anything, build my own character, create my own house and completely live out his/her life in any way...

Pros: Great time-killer. Fun game Cons: Game clock a little too quick
I received this game as a gift from some great friends of mine. I had heard great things about the game. Plus, the fact that you can really do messed-up things to the characters was a major selling point. However, when I started getting into the game,...

Pros: Intriguing, allows you to be creative, is a great escape Cons: Sims move slowly, there are some glitches
A fan of previous Sim games, I picked this one up on a whim, having not heard anything about it. At first it was a bit frustrating, but once I learned "the way of the Sims," how to control them, in what order to accomplish certain things, etc.,...

Pros: There are soooo many things you can do with you Sims. There are money calls on the phone. Cons: While building the houses you can not put objects on diagonals. There can only be 8 people in a family.
I bought The Sims the very first day it came out and I have been playing it just about everyday since. This is the greatest game of all time! Basically what you do is create a family of any kind, buy a lot with their income, build them a house and run...

Pros: non violent, fun, entertaining Cons: aren't enough hours in the day to play it!!!
This game is one I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys spending time infront of the screen. It can be extremly addictive though; so you have to watch out for that. This is a game that allows you to break away from the norm. Explore options you...

Pros: utter control and freedom, and realistic game play Cons: addictive (if that's a bad thing)
I played this game for four hours straight on a Saturday morning
once. This is a phenomenal game! Not only do you have the freedom to
run a family, but you also decide exactly what your house looks like.
From...

Pros: Amusing gameplay, great storylines can be woven, interesting relationships, comical voices. Cons: Some gameplay issues that could not be worked around easily.
While school was still in, I overheard some friends talking about "The Sims", a game I had heard of recently. Snippets include, "Yeah, my character died! I left him in a room with a fire" and "This game is SO hard!" I was...

Pros: Lots of options, and good graphics Cons: You play for hours on end!
Every time time I get up in the morning I think about this game! I know it sounds sad but if you own, or have played this game you'll understand a little better!
"The Sims" is a game that takes a lot of involvement....
