Pros: You get to play God in this world. Isn't that enough. Cons: Sims aren't very self sufficient even when you teach them to be.
This game is great for anyone that wishes that they could change their world. With The Sims you can live vicariously through your Sims.
Graphics: I was actually a bit surprised how well the game looked when it came out. (Zooming in is fun!)...

Pros: fun and educational Cons: addicting
I bought SIMS for 49.99 at SAM's club. It is definitely worth the money though. If you are a control freak, which I'm not, then this game is mostly for you. You control peoples' lives. It's not good for all ages though... Read on to get a good idea...

Pros: Great time killer, excellent playability, complex game makes for fun and interesting play Cons: Lose track of time, real life job performance suffers, real life everything suffers.
A game of this caliber very rarely comes along. It's Saturday morning 10am and you've got nothing better to do. You pull out "The Sims" and start playing. You're begin by finding a sim job, say pro athlete. You have your little sim go to work as team...

Pros: Let's you actually have control over someone else's life Cons: Very addictive!! Time just seems to fly by when you are playing
We bought this game for my husband because we finally had a computer that was advanced enough to run it. Now we are both addicted!! There are many nights when we don't go to bed until the wee hours of the morning. It's very easy to get wrapped up into...

Pros: Lots of fun, very addictive Cons: There is no end in sight!
This is a great game, one of the best of the Sim games. I played it almost nonstop for a few weeks, to the detriment of my real life, and had a great time, if also a sore wrist.
The game is daunting at first, with so many controls....

Pros: great graphics, creative idea, excellent features Cons: can really make you forget time!
I discovered 'The Sims' few weeks back and I was totally flabbergasted by the very idea behind the game. Creating virtual people and making them live the life you choose. Sounds too good to be true eh? Almost makes you hope it was real!

Pros: Lots of fun, good graphics, few tech problems Cons: Highly addictive!
I am completely hooked on "The Sims"! This is a game where you get to control the lives of a person or family you create, so perhaps the fact that I cannot stop playing says something about my controlling nature. Be that as it may, once I got the hang...

Pros: do just about whatever you want to just about whoever you want Cons: not enough people and products to buy
Have you ever wanted to control everyone in your life? Well with The Sims, that can almost come a reality. With The Sims you take your own simulated people and run their every day lives.
There are many things you can do with your Sim...

Pros: Fun, original, this game gets you hooked! Cons: May cause you to sit for endless hours in front of the computer
Many games are released each year, but few can boast such worldwide popularity as The Sims series can. The Sims not only is an original, enticing computer game, it allows us to be endlessly entertained, but without the mindless bloodbath that so many ...

Pros: addictable game Cons: low replay value
The Sims got quite a hype here in Singapore. Many scramble to purchase it with previous successful games on its back like sim city, sim tower, etc.
But you got to admire the potential of these games that the programmers can come out with. My...

Pros: Allows you to be creative. Hours of fun. Cons: Can be boring at times. Many tasks are quite repetitive.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be all-powerful and all knowing? Have you ever wanted to be in total control of someone’s life? Get to make them do what ever you want. Even tell them when they get to go to the bathroom. Well then “The...

Pros: Good Graphics, Great Replay Value, Easy to play and understand, Amazing Gameplay Cons: Some minor glitches
If you enjoy games at all, then it is a fact that you will like The Sims. Although rated "T" because of comic mischief and mature sexual themes, The Sims is nothing more than a game which causes you to momentarily forget about everything. Say good-bye to...

Pros: concept Cons: execution
I'd heard about Maxis' 'people simulator' months before it was in stores,
and had been looking forward to it. It's fundamentally a decent game, but in the end it's a poorly thought out concept.
First gripe: Your sims are like...

Pros: Fun gameplay, nice sounds, hours of fun Cons: Sometimes gets annoying seeing your Sims doing the same thing every day.
You've probably noticed by now that I did not give this awesome game five stars, but merely four. That's because this game is both fun and addictive, but not perfect. I (like most games) eventually got bored with it. Don't get me wrong though this game...
