Pros: Very realistic, and fun. Cons: Time consuming.
The Sims is rather an unique game. It is similiar to one of those Tamagotchi chicks which was released from Japan except is a human being. So what do you actually do? guess what? the same things you do everyday in your life. You generally have to control...

Pros: If you like CONTROL you'll love it. Cons: Time goes buy too fast to get things done.
I finally broke down and got The Sims and it has been quite fun. The new expansion pack due out in September will hopefully add more depth to the game.
Things that could have made it better:
The sims growing older with time, and kids growing...

Pros: Completely addictive. Cons: Completely addictive.
I was kind of a late bloomer on the whole Sims Revolution thing. All my friends had it, and they kept nagging me to buy it. Eventually, I caved. I ran to CompUSA and plunked down my $49.95, and to this day I stand strong in the conviction that it was the...

Pros: Great simulation game with great graphics. Cons: The Sims people are a little dumb and you cant visit neighbor Sims houses.
When the Sims first came out it took the world by storm. Everyone was buying it, but to me it looked kind of stupid. I mean how fun is it to control people in there everyday life. My friend had the game and when I got to his house he couldn’t get off of...

Pros: Let's you have complete control over people. Addictive and fun. Cons: Takes a lot of time, a "sit-down" game. A little complicated.
The Sims, The Sims. Seems to be all we heard about in 2000, when it won the Game Of The Year award. This interactive 3D game fever is spreading. It gives you complete control over little almost human people. There is an entire neighborhood of Sims you...

Pros: fun running other peoples lives Cons: can get repetitive when you have a lot of money
I originally borrowed this game from my sister and was immediately hooked. After accidently setting several fires, I finally got the hang of it. You start with a family that you can make up or take one that is already there. I like to make my own. It's...

Pros: fun, interesting, kind of like real life Cons: addictive, Sims talk in gibberish
I admit it, this game is addictive. My mom watched us play and she had no idea why we liked it so much. When she asked me, I thought for a minute, and answered, "I have no idea. It's just addictive, but I don't know why." Well, I didn't say those...

Pros: great fun Cons: weird sound
The Sims is a great game. You make a family, put them in a house and watch how they get on. You can take a more active role in their life and directly control their actions. When you create you family you can have up to 8 people in the family. You are...

Pros: original, nice look and heaps of fun Cons: some minor little annoyances
Introduction
Maxis has set the standards for simulation games with the cassic sim city 2000 and it has done it again with The Sims. The sims is like you own personal tv show where you get to direct and create the show.

Pros: Hours of fun and Spark your creative juices. Cons: You'll want to play so often you'll forget what time it is.
Have you ever wanted to create your own little neighborhood? One where you would have complete and total control. Well now you can with the Sims. This game is countless hours of fun.
I received this game as a gift from my husband for Christmas....

Pros: Live the life you never could. Completely addictive Cons: Completely addictive
I thought Midtown Madness 1 and 2 were the best software titles that, not only could I play without having to memorize a complex sheet of directions, but also had fun playing. I thought. Then came all the brewhaha about The Sims. Many years ago I tried...

Pros: Good graphics, addicting Cons: addicting, and they walk soooo slooow!
I read many of the epinions posted with a large grin on my face, as I was trying to decide between surfing the net or playing with my Sims! Oh, yes, I am fully and completely addicted. I have wasted hours, days, masterminding my simulated humans. I...

Pros: Customize your sims home Cons: What's the point of the game?
I bought this game after hearing good reviews on ZDTV, and other respectable sources. I like games by Maxis, except that there is not a goal in any of them. By goal I am referring to the fact that you can't beat any of the games. For example in Simcity...

Pros: Addictive, fine gameplay Cons: You'll end up looking after your Sims better than you do yourself!
Even before this game was released, I was hooked on it. The mere thought of controlling every aspect of a simulated (or 'Sims') life was just too tempting.
About the game
The Sims is exactly that; a simulator. In the same vein...
