Pros: Great for control freaks! Cons: runs a little slow, not very
Now...everyone has had to have heard of The Sims by now. Being there's almost 600 reviews for it, I thought I'd write my own. Although I'll only make a couple cents.
This games would have to be the funniest computer games I have ever played....

Pros: Everything Cons: Money Shortages
The Sims is the only one of its kind. It is the only game that lets you simulate a family, and tell them what to do. It is kind of like you playing as God and commanding your little creations to do things, such as cook, clean, play, watch TV, well you...

Pros: fun game, never get tired of it, not to hard Cons: music
I am the kind of person who loves the games like this. I like them because you can never grow tired of them. This is the kind of game you never really beat so it is fit for hours of fun.
I got this game as a mother's day gift. I had wanted...

Pros: highly customizeable, many hours of fun, incredible graphics, easy to play Cons: frequent crashes (for me anyway), not customizeable enough, annoying game design flaws
The Sims has for some time now been one of Will Wright's main goals. The inventor of SimCity and many of its offspring games, Wright ultimately wanted to create a game where players could control virtual people and guide them through their...

Pros: graphics, multitude of things to do, can go from simple to complicated depending on user Cons: I'm Addicted!!!
Thank God my computer ran out of memory, or else I wouldn't be writing this review!
I am a stay at home mom who spends way too much time on the computer. So when my husband ran across this game, a new one by the makers of SimCity 2000,...

Pros: addicting, playing God Cons: tedious, doing way too much in a short amount of time
Maxis is widely known for making Sim City and types of games where you are in charge of making areas or items. But now Maxis made The Sims where you are not only in charge of the house a person/people live in, the way the house is built, but the items...

Pros: One of the most fun, addictive games very unique Cons: Could Be TOO addictive
The Sims is definitely one of the most addictive games I have ever played. The whole entire maxis series of games are great but personally I don’t think any of them can really compare to that of the Sims. It is a very unique simulation of real life and...

Pros: Good control game, easy to learn Cons: Small neighbourhood
This time there was only one computer game I wanted and that was The Sims. After seeing it in a small booklet I knew I wanted it. I have read a lot of reviews about the game as well. I could hardly wait to go to PCWorld where I spent some Christmas money...

Pros: You can turn the game off Cons: Only computer game that depicts world more boring the one we live in.
Tired of your boring life where all you do is go to work, eat, use the bathroom, watch TV, and maybe play some computer games, and clean your house? Well then why don’t you lose yourself in a computer game where you can pretend to be a person who does...

Pros: Wonderful graphics and sound, you can give your people careers and it's really fun to design houses Cons: Gets old fast, no real objective
I first read about this game in Time Magazine, and I the article was so well-written that I felt compelled to try it. When I did buy it, I spent the better part of the week glued to the computer, controlling the lives of these little pixel-people. ...

Pros: They allow you to do... pretty much everything. Cons: They allow you to screw yourself if you're not careful.
I've decided to write several articles about this game since I seem to be fairly adept at it. I have studied things that even the master guide book (the special strategy guide) that you can buy doesn't cover. In the chat room on the web site for the sims...

Pros: More neighborhoods, careers, items Cons: No more 'simtalk', not overly original
As one of the many Sims junkies out there, I was very happy to finally grab my copy of "The Sims: Livin' Large" Expansion Pack. For a $17.99 price tag, I expected some modifications to the original game for added realism and fantasy. I was...

Pros: Brand new simulation game, giving the player god-like abilities. Doesn't require a mega video card. Cons: Can get boring, and lacks realistic aspects valued by normal people.
I bought this game after all of the media hype and after hearing about it from a few friends. I decided to try it out...

Pros: Superb music and sound, nice graphics, very funny and addictive Cons: AI could be better, the zoom options
I have to say I didn’t want to write a review on this game at first mainly because many have already done it and each time I logged in at epinions, my eyes were irritated by “just another review on The Sims”, no matter how hard I tried to avoid it. ...
