Pros: You-won't-believe-your-ears-music, incredible graphics, 40+ characters, unique battle system. Cons: At times, there can be TOO many characters.
Wow, where do I start!? THIS GAME IS SECOND TO NONE ON PSX!
It's hard to describe Chrono Cross. It is so massive and endulging, that time will fly.
This game is dubbed as the "sequel to chrono trigger", and it is and it isn't. First...

Pros: 45 Characters, 10 endings, need I say more? Cons: The plot is very hard to follow at times, but 10 endings??
When the original Chrono Trigger first appeared on the Super Nintendo, I over looked it, now I am feeling the intense pain associated with missing the first installment of this two part series. Chrono Cross takes RPG's a step further. Well, two steps...

Pros: great graphics, full motion videos, story line, you name it..it has it! Cons: Not being able to put the game down once you start!
I am relatively new to the whole RPG game thing. I am recently married and could not figure out why my new husband sat in front of the Playstation for hours playing these silly games...until he started to play ChronoCross. The graphics had me hooked, as...

Pros: Graphics, Sound, Storyline, and Replay Cons: Music was okay... but it's FUN!!!
WHen I got this game, I was sooo happy. Believe the hype. THis is a must have for all RPG gamers. This has the best battle system and the best story. It goes right up to Chrono Trigger I think. First of all, I'll explain the battle system. It's not...

Pros: Great Storyline and Battles Cons: Not enough character development
Chrono Cross well probably be remembered as the sequel to Chrono Trigger. While Chrono Cross surpasses Chrono Trigger on many levels, I think Chrono Trigger was more original for its time.
Learning Curve:4
Learning the basics of the game...

Pros: Fabulous graphics, great battle system, beautiful soundtrack, TONS of playable characters, great ending Cons: The plot could get a bit..too.. confusing at times
I had not played the original Chrono Trigger, but when I saw previews of the graphics and heard just how many playable characters there were... I knew that I must buy this game.
While playing I was somewhat confused due to the fact that I had...

Pros: Graphics, Story, Music, Graphics, Story, Music. Did I mention the Graphics? Cons: It has an ending.
Well who would have thought that Square would out-do it's premier franchise with a non Final Fantasy title? Me and Arley but that doesn't matter. What does matter is the depth and scope of this game's story and battle engine.
When the...

Pros: Storylinem, Music, easy Gameplay, unlimited playability Cons: Not a one
This game, one of the highlights of Squaresoft, is a sequel to one of the most popular games ever: Chrono Trigger. I played Chrono Trigger for the SNES a long time ago, when it was new. It was probably one of the greatest games for the SNES. Now, its...

Pros: very innovative game, dialogue, easy to pick up... but hard to master Cons: none I could find.... but I got spoiled w/ FF7...
At first I was hesitant to pick up this title. I'd heard good things about it, but I was kinda waiting for Lunar 2: Eternal Blue and Final Fantasy 9. With Lunar 2 being delayed yet again, I decided I'd need something to "tide-me over" until FF9...

Pros: Best Non-Final Fantasy RPG Ever Cons: Slightly shorter than other top RPG's
Being part-way through this game myself, I'm thinking that this could be the game that Final Fantasy IX (released in November) may not be able to beat. A complex, but easy-to-use battle system, is one that has not been seen before. Magic use is a lot...

Pros: Name something in the game, okay that's a Pro Cons: No one From Chrono Trigger making a guest appearance
I worship Chrono Trigger; I am considering making a shrine to Ayla and Frog. The Chrono Trigger fans have been waiting for a sequel for FIVE flipping years, and finally it has arrived. When I bought it, and previously when I had heard about it, I was...

Pros: Creative Story Line, Great Sound and Graphics Cons: Extremely easy in the beginning, not as good as Chrono Trigger
Once again Square out did themselvves...
Chrono Cross would have to be on of the best games I've ever had the pleasure of playing. The well meshed cut scenes were breath taking. The music was very emotional and set the mood very well. This...

Finally, the long-awaited sequel to Chrono Trigger has hit U.S. shores and is already in my console for that matter. After playing the first few minutes of this game, I was already impressed by the graphics. This game if visually incredible. The...
