Pros: Great Music, great Graphics, great accuracy, great game Cons: becomes too easy after a while, after playing awhile the songs get old.
This was the first descent skateboarding game for playstation. There was the illogical Street Sk8ter. That was a huge disappointment. While that game sucked, it did have a good sound track. This game is a great skating game for a few reasons.

Pros: Tight, smooth, colorful graphics. Cons: Takes a lot of effort to pull off some of the moves.
Tony Hawk would be proud. Playing this game is like going out to the pipes and practicing some moves. One bonus: its completely safe.
This game is fun to play in a group, or simply alone. The various options allows any number of players to...

Pros: Unbelievable realism Cons: can be a little tedious at times
Once upon a time (not too long ago)(before I was a playstation fiend) a friend of mine bought an issue of Playstation Magazine which came complete with a demo disk of some really cool games. Being a member of the Nintendo generation I had no idea what...

Pros: A lot of fun, GREAT GAME Cons: not to many...
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is the best game for playstation. Yes, I know, what about resident evil, syphon filter, and all the other game-of-the-years. Well, compared to this, they don't hold a candle. I mean, you can never do the same thing twice in this...

Pros: Graphics, Replay value, 2 Player Action Cons: Christ Air, evil special move!
What is there to say? When I first came on here, I went looking for a few epinions for this game, just to see if anything else had a different opinion... lets see.. NOPE. Hands down. This game rocks!
I started hearing things about how...

Pros: graphics, and game play Cons: limited action
I was simply impressed by this game. Not thinking much of all the X-treme sport games out there I expected much of the same from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. I figured it was just another game with an athlete's name on it. Well after playing this game, and...

Pros: Fast loading time, fast game play, a great selection of skaters, and great tricks Cons: Sometimes the music becomes annoying after listening to the same songs over and over, and some of the hidden tapes are almost impossible to find
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is the best skateboarding game I have ever played. It has fast game play, and great music. Not only can you play as the legendary Tony Hawk, but you can play as Bob Burnquist, Geoff Rowley, Bucky Lasek, Chad Muska, Kareem...

Pros: gameplay is awesome, career mode, many things Cons: no create a skater mode
Tony Hawk put the skating world on the map over the course of his life. This new skateboarding game puts all skateboarding games on the map. It is an excellent game, full of exciting moves and just plain fun. This game is even for those who don't...

Pros: EVERY THING! Cons: screw Flanders
Undoubtedly one of the best games ever made. Tons of tricks, tons of tracks, and tons of fun. There are 9 tracks, with every thing from a school to a skate park. And you can grind on every corner, every edge, and there are pleanty of ramps to air off of....

Pros: Graohics, Tricks and Stunts, Competition. Cons: None.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is an AMAZING game. Tony Hawk is an arcade style simulation. All of the points that you collect are for doing tricks by holding down circle, square or triangle and moving the analog stick in different directions. While executing...

Pros: Most everything is good about this game. Cons: Moves and Special Moves are sometimes hard to execute and land.
If you have ever wanted to just pick up a skateboard and fly, well here's your chance. This is possibly the most realistic, most fun and most creative game created ( unless by the time you have read this Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 is out ) ever about...

Pros: Graphics, realism, fun all in one! Cons: I can't skate worth beans compared to these guys!
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is...well...GREAT! The first time I played this game I was hooked. Choosing different skaters, skateboards, trucks, wheels, courses...it's insane how fun this game is! It took me about two minutes to learn the controls, but...

Pros: Awesome Graphics and music, and very fun Cons: You have to fight to play when your friends come over
Incredible game ever made for the playstation. I think this game was mad perfect for every person, (even my girlfriend likes it). When I first played this game I couldn't keep my eyes off of it. It just sucked me in like a space ship taking me to Mars....

Pros: Easy-to-learn, fun game for all ages. Cons: The music selection could be more varied.
I tried skateboarding, when I was a teenager. I sucked. Me and my Lance Mountain would attempt ollies, railslides, and so on ... and it wasn't happenin. So eventually, the board went away.
Swing around to now. I get my hands on the demo...

Pros: Everything. No, really. Cons: Nothing. No, really.
Wow. Let me open by saying I am a 6'3" 320 pound dude, not your average skater. I still remember when I got my Max Headroom skateboard at age 10 and instantly thought I could do all the moves on "Skate or Die". Needless to say, I was...
