Pros: Royal Rumble; moves and animations are accurate to life Cons: It's a wrestling game; the whacked-out storyline deal
Well, first off I'm not a big wrestling fan so I didn't expect to like this at all. Of all the wrestling games that I have played, this one may be the best. That doesn't mean its good, though!
Gameplay: Hey, it's wrestling,...

Pros: It's got the WWF liscense to sell ridiculously regardless of quality Cons: Peepee controls
"If I go crazy and will you still call me superman, if i'm alive and well will you be there a holdin' my hand, i'll keep you by my side with my superhuuuman might, kryptonite! yeah, yeah, yeah, YEAH!" Did that get your little attention? C,...

Pros: graphics Cons: controls, moves
The one thing Smackdown has going for it is its graphics. Besides that it has nothing. The controls suck, and the gameplay is worse than Warzone. Smackdown is like a bad breed between Attitude and Wrestlemania 2000. The problem is, the only good...

Pros: Control is tight, graphics are beyond belief, it sounds right, and the gameplay is realistic. Cons: The Create-A-Wrestler's apperance mode stinks, and don't get me started on the music...
When I was a child, I watched childish things (like WCW) and played childish games (like WCW Nitro). But when I grew up, I put away childish things and became a WWF fan. But when THQ got the license to WWF games, I got scared that childish games...

Pros: Very Realistic, Good Graphics, Great Gameplay Cons: Create a Wrestler is a little shaky
As soon as I heard that the WWF was teaming up with THQ to release their new video game for the Playstation Console, I ran right down to my local computer gaming store and reserved myself a copy. A few weeks later, I went down to pick the game up. I...

Pros: good sound, perfect music and videos, Cons: lackluster story mode, disappointing create a wrestler mode
Nintendo 64 owners have had the blessing of some really fine wrestling games such as Wrestlemania 2000 and WCW Revenge, while Playstation gamers have had to settle with mediocre titles like WCW Thunder. Now though THQ has brought some good WWF action...

Pros: graphics, entrances Cons: create a player, create a player, create a player
This game is cool!! it's the only game that i actually went out to buy without renting it, and i wasn't dissapointed. Some aspects of the game could have been way better [cough cough create a player] but everything else is picture perfect.

Pros: ok graphics, and very easy and effective control Cons: a sorry create player mode, and a very repetitive story mode. Also horrible entrances, and animation is too cartoonish
When I decided to buy this game, I bought it because it was simply a WWF game! But when I played it, I liked it, but I didn't REALLY, REALLY like it. Here's why:
The graphics are good, but there are some downsides also. The wrestlers look...

Pros: Excellent Graphics Cons: Poor Game Layout/Setup
Possibly one of the most anticipated Playstation video games of all time. Why do you ask, simply, it's something that sells, it's wrestling! There are estimated of 30 million pro wrestling fans in the United States alone. You know when something sells...

Pros: Good Graphics; Season Mode Instead of Career Mode Cons: Stupid Create-A-Superstar; No Blood; Gets Boring
Smackdown used to be great. Lots of people I knew loved it. The one thing people didn't really like was the Create-A-Superstar. But now, Smackdown's sequal is out, and has knocked the original off its high 'Best Wrestling Game' spot. Smackdown 2 has...

Pros: Great graphics, very fun, and great modes! Cons: Gets old fast.
Ahh... yes another wrestling game. I like most people am getting sick of wrestling games. But this one rules over the other ones! It's not like most of the other 5000 wrestling games! THQ went to the Japanese wrestling ring masters at Yukes (??) and used...

This game rocks!!! This is the best wrestling game I've played for the PSX yet. At first when I popped it in, the graphics did not impress me much, but that didn't last long. As soon as I got into the game, I noticed the faster gameplay compared to...

Pros: Huge variety of options, constantly funny and intense. Cons: NONE
What could be better than playing the part of your favorite WWF character or making one of your own, and then beating the sh** out of everyone else? Trust me, it doesn't get much better than this in the video game world.
This game is extremely...

Pros: Everything about this game makes you feel like you're in the crowd or watching wrestling on TV. Cons: With the lack of commentary and a Ladder Match this game could've been perfect and I would have given it a higher number than what I'm allowed to pick. But it had neither so it'll have to settle for a 5.
Now I am not a big fan of wrestling games on the PSX, in fact, with the acception of Attitude every single wrestling game on the PSX sucks. So when I played SmackDown for the first time, amidst all the hype it was recieving, I didn't give it much of...

Pros: Plenty of killer wrestlers to choose from. A ton of modes to keep yourself busy. Great intro's into the ring. Outstanding graphics. Season mode is wicked addictive. Cons: Weak instructions. No voices from the wrestlers. No referee's to knock out unless you're playing a Special Ref match. Wrestling targeting is simply terrible. No Curt Angle.
First, let me say one thing. I'm not much of a wrestling fan. This fact alone will probably earn me some negative ratings, but that's okay. My brother-in-law and wife have been slowly getting me into wrestling, so I can, at the very least, know the...
