Xenogears is the 5th game of a six game series, even though it was the first of them to come out( the first one is Xenosaga Episode One on the PS2).

While the in game graphics are not good by today's standards, the anime cut scenes look pretty to me. The soundtrack is GREAT, playing through the game again pushed me to buying the soundtrack. The controles are good, like most RPGs there is the OK/ACTION button, the menu button, the cancel button, etc. But Xenogears has a jump button. This is good and bad. It leads to some good puzzles, but sometimes it can be glitchy.

The combat system is combo based. For example, when it is your turn to go, and you choose to attack, you push square, circle, and triangle to use turn points and do combo attacks, which is cool.

Pros: The game is THE most unique RPG i have ever played! Nothing Compares!
Cons: However toward the end of the game it can get repetitive. theres nothing to do.
