Blood Wake for Xbox

Blood Wake is a water-vehicular combat game that has gotten quite a lot of attention since it was first unveiled. The reason for most of this attention is mostly over the incredible water visuals and how realistic everything works together.

Cons: The gameplay is terrible, the water seems like jello.

Having bad looking water in a game is annoying, but not usually a sin, unless the game is based on water. Which Blood Wake is. You'll realize something is wrong with Blood Wake during the first mission, when you see the "water" undulating on the shore...

Cons: Poor control, sound, voice acting, and level design lacks creativity.

As plenty of other reviews will no doubt point out Blood Wake's shining moments (it has a few), mine is simply to recommend you either avoid it completely, or go out and rent it to judge for yourself (without gambling $50).

Blood wake is a float around shoot other boats kind of game. This game was so lousy that I am having trouble investing the time to finish the whole thing. Sorry but it is true. I keep hoping to find something that will redeem this purchase, but have yet...

Bloodwake is a pretty standard 3rd person vehicular shooter, with a twist. The twist? You're in a boat riding over fairly realistic water.

The element of interacting with waves and timing attacks concurrent with that movement brings a little...
