The guys who work in the pro shop at Blackberry are always friendly. That, combined with a lot of friendly regulars that come to Blackberry guarantees that you'll almost always enjoy who you are paired up with for a round of golf.

Pros: Well maintained grass, interesting holes, par 3's and par4's. Cons: No driving range only practice net.
Blackberry was one of the first 9-Hole courses I've ever played. I've played a handful of them since then and this is opinion I've formed.
The green are relatively well maintained. The greens always seemed to be well groomed and the grass always looked alive (unless some other 9-Hole courses in San Jose where parts of the grass look like they're dying).
Blackberry is good for the beginner to beginner-intermediate. The course features several par 4's which are good for practice and the par 3's are interesting for the beginner.
