Lincoln Greens Golf Course

Pros: Little water, good place to learn the game.
Cons: Fairways & tees need to improve 50% to attain "pasture" status.

Pros: Great layout. New clubhouse. Convenient to Interstate. Reasonable fees.
Cons: Still needs some work, but headed in the right direction.

I could have written the previous review a couple years back. A season pass holder for many years, I gave up after years of The Recreation Department's bad management had turned this course from a jewel to a joke.
The Park District has (mercifully) taken over the facility and things are on the upswing. Hopefully the P/D will keep moving forward and perhaps return this course to its once lofty standing as one on the finer muni courses in Illinois.
