Angel Park Golf Club - Palm Course

Pros: Class operation all around. Condition of the course. Views of the foothills.
Cons: Nothing on this visit.

I'm from the Seattle area so my comparison base is the Northwest. I have also golfed on two other courses a few years ago in Vegas: Desert Rose and the Las Vegas Golf Club, both public courses. I think Angel Park is far better. Angel Park - Palm Course ...

I was so spoiled to have played at Angel Park...it is comparable to any private country club in my area (Boston).

Pros: Well maintained course, great service, close to the strip, excellent practicing area.
Cons: A bit pricey, but with (same day) replay, becomes great value for the $.

I played there with a group of friends from Toronto on 11/14/2004.
Both courses were in excellent condition with well maintained fairways and greens, good mix of sand, water and desert make the course interesting, add in the scenery and mountain in the background giving Angel Park a fantastic golf experience, especially for visiting golfers from boring flat landscape area (such as myself). Most greens were fairly large providing easier target to improve your greens in reg. Putting was a bit tricky because most break toward the strip, once you grasp this concept you will putt well. The Mountain is a little more challenging than the Palm. Nevertheless, I enjoyed both courses. Discounted fee for replay allows you to play both courses at great value for the price. Exceptional friendly services from all staff. I will definitely come back here next year!
