Pros: Easy to use, evenly grinds, fine grind in seconds, safety on/off switch, compact unit. Cons: Measurement markings on the lid aren’t marked well and are not explained.
Summary: Dare I admit it? I dont drink coffee. So why does this non-coffee drinker own a coffee grinder? Being health conscious, I use flax seed when baking. The Braun Coffee Grinder model KSM 2/4 does a great job grinding those hard flax ... read more

Pros: Compact, sturdy, reliable, versatile. Ideal for one or two people. Cons: A bit noisy. The cord tends to twist and is difficult to flatten out.
Summary: Intro About ten years ago I began making my own mustards. One of the pre-requisites for doing this successfully was a coffee grinder (the recipe book suggested keeping a grinder specifically for this purpose). Faced with a range of products, ... read more

Pros: Easy to use, Fast Cons: Loud
Summary: My husband drinks coffee every morning and we have been using beans and grinding them for over 12 years. The last grinder we had lasted just over five years at which time it quickly died. Since the last one was a Braun and we had been happy with ... read more

Pros: elegant design, portable, only two parts, durable, dual-usage as spice grinder Cons: noisy operation, not as versatile as the Braun KMM-30
Summary: Make some more? We work 36 hours on, 18 off, which is 90 hours a week, 52 weeks a year. For that, we are paid $23,739 before taxes, and we also have to *make* the coffee? - Dr. Peter Benton, E.R. One would think that with a user name ... read more

Pros: Grinds beans almost as evenly and finely as a far more expensive coffee mill Cons: None that I can think of.
Summary: Coffee grinders basically come in two "flavors:" either the more respected and preferred "burr" type grinder, also known as a coffee mill, or the infinitely more popular "chopper" type grinder. The Braun KSM-2 is a "chopper" grinder. A coffee mill ... read more

Pros: see-through top, easy to use, survived pouring hot brewed coffee into it Cons: Have had 2 - both stopped working
Summary: First of all, pouring the hot coffee into it (while it was plugged in) didn't hurt it. It lasted about a year beyond that.
But what did happen to both grinders is that pushing down the tab that starts the grinding failed to work. The first one ... read more

Pros: Grinds the beans well for good coffee Cons: LOUD
Summary: Hubby is a coffee junkie, always looking for an espresso-like brew - dark, rich, and flavorful. He'll drink the stuff I make from cans of Flogers and Maxwell House, but he'd prefer something fresher and with more "oomph." Enter my Braun Coffee ... read more

Pros: Low price, widely available. Cons: Poor results, uneven grind, chops beans instead of milling them, messy.
Summary: The old adage, "you get what you pay for" is certainly true in this case. The Braun was the lowest-priced coffee grinder -- don't you dare call it a "mill"! -- in town. While a mill has two stones which grind the coffee beans, this Braun and most other ... read more

Pros: 10 years old and still works great; inexpensive; tidy cord storage. Cons: Impossible to thoroughly clean hopper.
Summary: My Braun KSM2 was purchased in the summer of 1992 as I prepared to go away to college. It has been in daily to weekly use for 10 years now. The Mr. Coffee I bought at the same time has been dead for seven years, but this grinder still performs as well as ... read more

Pros: Simple to use and reliable

Summary: When our Coffee Grinder died we needed an immediate replacement because the morning fix could not be missed. I sent my husband to the grocery store and he found the Braun coffee grinder.

Pros: Quick and simple to use. Easy to clean. Cons: Uneven grind size.
Summary: I've been trying out different coffee grinders for about month now at time of writing. All of the opinions I've read on this topic recommend getting a burr grinder, because (a) blade grinders (such as the Braun KSM 2/4), don't actually grind the bean ... read more

Pros: easy to use, inexpensive, small Cons: noisy
Summary: It seems like coffee has become a staple in the American diet. With a Starbucks on every corner, it is hard to avoid the calling of a freshly brewed cup of java. I love Starbucks, but I don't love the prices. So I save Starbucks for a treat and grind my ... read more

Pros: long lived, works at least as well as any blade coffee grinder i've tried Cons: plastic prone to static makes it slightly messy
Summary: It used to be my job to grind the coffee. A little wooden box, and a handle which, at four years old, I was barely strong enough to turn. The coffee was brewed in a battered and badly stained saucepan, so a coarse grind was required. I doubt i would have ... read more

Pros: A very sturdy appliance. I use it every day and it gives fast, even grind. Cons: It's loud and there are spills transferring to coffeemaker. Requires some skill for correct grind.
Summary: I'm not sure how long I have owned my present Braun coffee grinder because my children have purloined my previous one, but I guess 15 years. It is sturdy, reliable, perhaps because as the brochure says, it has a powerful motor and a unique blade and lid ... read more
