I have to say that I love my dishwasher. It beats doing them by hand. And since my wife is the world champion at watching the dishes pile up in the sink I really didn't have a choice but to buy a dishwasher.

I have been using my Maytag dishwasher for about two 2) years and have been very satisfied with its performance and appearance in the kitchen.

My last dishwasher was a Kenmore and it lasted about 10 years. Compared to this one the Kenmore is just a water waister because you had to wash dishes twice - once to preclean and finish wash in the dishwasher.

The Maytag requires almost no preclean or no fancy detergent or detergent helpers. It just does a great job of cleaning dishes from the table to the dishwasher. The heat cycle does not bother soft plastics, tupperwear, like most dishwashers.

The wheels on this unit seems to be very gentle on my kitchen floor. Can't say that for my last one..
