Pros: Everything! Built-In Disposal, Really Tough on Baked-On Foods, Terrific Rack System Cons: None
About two years ago, as I sat watching TV one night, it started raining in my lower-level rec room. Nope, not kidding. I was sitting in the bottom level of a three-story townhouse, and it was raining. Water was pouring out of the air duct register just...
Pros: Quiet. No pre-washing of dishes or stuck-on pans. Cons: Price was a bit high, but well worth it!
We purchased our first home 11 years ago when we first got married. Money was tight, so we didn't make any upgrades to the house and took what the builder gave us.
One of the things included (thankfully!), were the major appliances. One of...
Pros: Quiet, very clean dishes Cons: Dry cycle doesn't always get the job done
And this one is NOT LOUD. When I first installed the Maytag - which I did myself - I was disappointed when I turned the switch and nothing happened. But wait? What was that faint, soft sound? Was that the sound of a dishwasher? I was astonished to...
Pros: Very good job cleaning, convenient features Cons: louder than expected
Our Maytag 6100 has always done an excellent job cleaning dishes, no matter how dirty the dishes are going in. In past dishwashers, we've had to run really dirty pots through multiple times and often found plates and utensils still dirty. Not so with...
Pros: Quiet, efficient, works well Cons: Slow cycle, some dishes wet
We recently purchased a new Maytag Dishwasher, mostly because we rely on the name, and our experience with Maytag appliances has been A-1. The dishwasher is nice-looking, fits in the space perfectly, and the almond color matches everything it should....
Pros: quiet, excellent cleaning action, attractive Cons: upper rack not does not fit all things we wish to wash in it
We bought this Maytag MBD6100 Jetclean dishwasher in January 2000 and so have lived with it for 6 months. It is so much more quiet than the previous "budget" GE it replaced. We particularly appreciate the delay start feature. It does a great...
Pros: No pre-rinse needed. Quiet. Has a "Clean" light. Cons: None thus far.
I have never had a dishwasher that needed so little pre-rinsing. It has been a delight to have this dishwasher. I find it to be quiet and to have just enough bells and whistles.
I purchased it because it was a "Maytag" and because it was...
Pros: A very good dishwasher! Cons: Its broke when you buy it!
I now have a copy of the service flash for the maytag dishwashers. The service flash is number SF22-689. It states that Models MDB6100AWW, MDB6100AWQ, MDB6100AWBM, MDB7100AWW, MDB7100AWQ, MDB7100AWB, MDB9100AWW, MDB9100AWQ, AND MDB9100AWB with the...
Pros: quiet, large dish capacity Cons: circuit board replacements often needed
Even though it has a plastic tank, it is a very quiet dishwasher. It has an excellent rack layout. The electronic control system makes it very efficient and easy to use. For those who do a lot of entertaining, one can set the timer to delay wash to one...
Pros: can handle large loads, easy to use Cons: maybe a little loud
Our house is about 50 years old. And when we moved in about 10 years ago, a 40 year old dishwasher was still there. So we decided to buy a new one about 2 years ago. I don't like how in all the commercials, people just throw completely dirty dishes in...
Pros: Quiet, good cleaning power Cons: Pump and motor need to be replaced every two years. ($150 each time)
This one probably is not made anymore but I have to share.
I bought this dish washer brand new from our local power company. Luckily, I got the service contract. We have had them come out to replace the pump & motor (one unit) twice and it just broke again for a third time. The machine is very quiet. It does a good job of cleaning and drying. If the pump & motor would not go out so often, I'd recommend it. In six years we have replaced it twice and need to now to use it some more. I have decided to buy a new dish washer and scrap this one. I'll be looking for a Kenmore or Whirlpool...
