Watch out for this! The basket chamber was very difficult to close due to interference between the angled tab and the Pause and Serve mechanism. I thought it would loosen up over time so we decided to keep it. Bad idea! The chamber popped open during a brew cycle, making a huge mess. A second unit did the same thing after we returned the first one. Our old Braun did great for 10 years, but the quality seems to have slipped significantly in recent years.
