Pros: Does a good job of frothing, easy to use and clean Cons: Delivers lukewarm shots requiring extra heating.
Cup plate scratched WAY too easily.
Summary: This machine does many of it's features very well but has a few flaws that need fixing, or at least methodology changes. If you simply turn on the machine, and wait for the green light to make coffee, you will end up with quite a lukewarm shot. ... read more

Pros: Easy to use after initial learning period. Love it after 2 years. Cons: Initially expensive to buy (pays for itself over time).

Delicious pressure-brewed coffee at home has never been easier. Cons: Necessary cleaning tablets and filters are pricey.
Oily beans wreak havoc-avoid dark roasts.
Summary: I bought my C1000 used at an auction site for around $500 at the end of 2005. When it arrived, it looked great, but wouldn't brew. One of the reasons I'd decided on the Capresso was their famous refurbish for $125 policy; if you have a problem, you can
