Pros: easy to clean; easy to operate; powerful; sturdy Cons: the picture on the box isn't the color of the mixer...
My husband and I do a lot of cooking, and we really put our kitchen appliances through the wringer. Not that long ago I finally had to replace my old Sunbeam hand mixer. The first thing I stumbled across was a KitchenAid, and I love KitchenAid, so...
Pros: Quality Made, Powerful, Safety, Easy to Clean Cons: None
Kitchen Aid 7 Speed Mixer is a wonderful hand mixer! It is very easy to use and is made of good quality. I had a very old sunbeam from "years" ago and it took me three Christmas' to finally give up the old thing that smoked and barely worked with...
Pros: smooth feel, 7 speeds, instant stop button Cons: no choice of beaters
I do a lot of baking, and as a result, I'm very hard on mixers. I make a lot of Wilton cakes, so my stand mixer is usually busy with frosting, so I need a hand mixer to mix my cake batter. When my trusty Farberware hand mixer gave up the ghost ...
Pros: Mixes well, very sturdy and durable, very easy to use Cons: None
I actually got this mixer as a wedding gift fours years ago. I absolutely love to bake and cook so was delighted to receive this mixer. I know and love the Kitchen Aid brand and also have one of the heavy-duty Kitchen Aid stand mixers (which I ...
Pros: Reliable mixing, well-constructed, and hey--it's a KitchenAid! Cons: None
While some might dream about vacations, pampering or even a white Christmas, I tend to dream in terms of "Kitchen" and "Aid"--and ooooh, what a wonderful dream that is! My dream of owning a KitchenAid stand mixer is still only in my baking fantasies,...

THE QUICK & DIRTY LOWDOWN
This is a must-have for the serious cook. Convenient, tough & easy to clean - you'll never break another wooden spoon stirring chocolate chip cookie dough (speaking from direct experience!) ...
My Kitchen Aide 7 Speed Ultra Power Plus is simply the best hand mixer I have ever used. I have gone through three other hand mixers in the past four years, and none of them compare. This hand mixer is more expensive then most, but the saying 'You get...
Pros: easy storage and will mix ANYTHING! Cons: none at all
Since I love to bake, I needed a electric mixer that would be durable and not burn itself out the first time I added the chocolate chips to the dough. I checked out several hand mixers and a few stand ones as well, but since I don't have alot of counter...
Pros: Lightweight, portable, easy to store, easy to clean, attractive colors, durable. Cons: It's pricier than other hand helds, but the quality is worth the price!
A wonderful mixer! After burning out a mixer each year for three years my husband decided to buy me a quality one for me for Christmas of 2001. He purchased the Kitchen Aid Ultra Power Plus 7 (in my favorite color...green!). The beaters looked flimsy...
Pros: - squared off tail sits well on countertops Cons: -awkward grip
-relatively poor power, low maximum speed
This review is for the Canadian model, the Kitchenaid 4KHM7T, which is the top Kitchenaid hand mixer model in Canada currently. It looks identical to the KHM7T but there may be some non-obvious differences. I bought one of these to replace a cuisinart ...
Pros: Soft start feature, and electronic control of speed Cons: none noted
I actually asked for this mixer for Christmas one year. Yes, a man who cooks! My wife is the envy of many of her friends. I enjoy cooking, and creating new dishes. Recipes are just a starting point, right? This mixer, while not replacing a stand ...
Pros: Powerful; easy to clean; nice design Cons: None
This is a great hand mixer. KitchenAid is getting very high marks in my book these days. I don't know what number hand mixer this makes in the nearly 20 years I've been cooking on my own, but I'm pretty sure it will last for MANY years. I have had...
Pros: Lightweight, easy to use, variable speeds. cleans easily Cons: More expensive (get whatcha pay for, tho)
In my 16 adult years, I have owned 2 other hand mixers and this one. The others had a short life, 3 settings, and beaters with grooves in them so that the food would get "stuck" and be hard to clean.
Good cooks want to be able to efficiently deal with the mundane aspects of cooking while freeing their energy and creativity for the more exciting aspects of cooking. If that sounds like you, then this is the right mixer. You turn it on, and it simply...
The "Cadillac" of hand mixers!!! by shoeprincess ,Mar 10 '06
Pros: Digital controls, no splattering, quiet, smooth operation! Cons: Price
I pretty much hated everything about my old mixer. It lurched between speeds when going from low to high and the high speed never failed to send cake batter splattering across the kitchen. So I was on a mission to find a replacement. I asked around and my Aunt said she has a KitchenAid stand mixer which she loves, so that's when I started looking at KitchenAid mixers. I ruled out a stand mixer since I only use my mixer about half a dozen times a year, mostly during the holidays. I opted for this 7 Speed Professional series instead. I could only find the white one here locally, so I ordered a red one (which is what I wanted) online.
So what is so great about this mixer, you ask? First of all, the controls are digital so there are no knobs or dials to clean. There is absolutely no splattering of food. The motor starts off slow and increases smoothly, yet remains quiet. The mixer will sit firmly in place without toppling over. It's simply a dream to use and I hope it lasts forever!
