  • Works great if you like thick, chunky juice (and lots of cleanup)!

    Jun 24 '06
Pros: Fresh, yummy juice! Simple, sturdy. Easy to disassemble clean and reassmble.
Cons: Sloppy, pulpy juice. Fruit/veg prep work. Occasionally sprays.

Summary: If you're a "juicer-type" person and drink a lot of fresh juice, this might be the juicer for you; read on! If you're not a juice person, you might be better off buying a multipurpose appliance, like a blender, that can do many of the same tasks, but ...

  • I love mine

    Jun 24 '06
Pros: compact storage for all parts, powerful motor and cutter, easy cleanup, good quality for price
Cons: small opening requires cutting up produce to fit in

Summary: I have this juicer and I'm very happy with it. I have watched those infomercials for the Jack LaLanne Power Juicer but I didn't want to invest that much money in it so I bought the much cheaper Braun 240 Watt Juicer instead. Braun is known for quality ...

  • could be better

    Apr 04 '01
Pros: easy to use and wash
    Cons: ineffective and unreliable

Summary: First, let me make some generic comment. I do not think it has any sense for anybody to write his/her comments right after you buy an appliance. You should accumulate some experience to share it with us.
For example, after using the juicer for 3...

  • My kids drink vegetables.

    Dec 17 '00
Pros: very sharp cutters, strong motor.
Cons: collection cup a little small if you want to do a larger amount.

Summary: My wife thinks I am a freak of some sort. If we decide to buy something like a small appliance for example, we can't just go to a store and buy it, no. I have to fire up the computer and collect reams of data on the products in order to pick the one I...

  • Too much pulp, too hard to clean

    Nov 05 '00
Pros: inexpensive, readily available, easy to assemble and use
Cons: too much pulp in juice, clogs often

Summary: I was given a Moulinex centrifugal juicer some months ago and quickly fell in love with the whole concept of juicing. After a long period of daily use, the Moulinex literally flew apart into pieces and I looked for a replacement.

    The Braun MP...

  • Juice me please

    Sep 05 '00
Pros: automatic pulp rejction, simple to use
Cons: this is not a heavy duty juicer

Summary: I bought this juicer based on what a friend of mine had to say about it. I had seen her use the juicer several times. She told me how easy it was to use and even let me give it a test run before I went and bought my own.

    I was very impressed...

  • Braun vs. Krups

    Apr 24 '00
Pros: works well on soft fruits/veggies
    Cons: had problem with switch

Summary: I wanted to buy a juicer for my sister when I was visiting her in a small town in Maine, and the Braun juicer was the only one they sold at the hardware store. When I got it to my sister's house, I really liked the way it juiced leafy vegetables and...

  • A good juicer if you don't mind a little pulp

    Jan 11 '00
Pros: Makes healthy fruit juices easily
Cons: Lots of parts to clean up, doesn't remove all of the pulp

Summary: Hi! :) I got this juicer about a year ago and it's still working just fine, so as far as durability goes, I say it's good. It's also not too hard to clean, though there is a lot of parts that need cleaning when you are done. Most can go in the top rack...

  • Good juicer

    Sep 19 '07
Pros: Extracts a lot of juice. Powerful, sharp blade. Doesnt clog easily
Cons: Breaks after a few years. Pulp tends to accumulate in machine and not the container.

Summary: Internal linkage on power switch broke after a few years, cheap plastic. I find juice extraction on fruits to be very effective, I tried compressing the pulp and was not able to extract any significant additional juice. Cleanup, I dont care, just take

  • Not bad for a novice juicer

    Aug 12 '04
Pros: Fairly quiet. Most parts rinse clean easily. Does the job. Seems well-made.
Cons: Pulp ejector gets clogged easily. Lots of parts to clean.

Summary: I've just started juicing, and wanted an inexpensive juicer that would give me a good experience. Bear in mind that I have no point of comparison with other juicers, as this is the only one I have used. My experience: it makes juice--easily, quickly

  • Shoud be better

    Aug 02 '04
    Pros: great for occasional juicing--safe
Cons: not very durable, can't order replacement blades, too hard to clean

Summary: MP80 is no very efficient. If you want to juice occasionally it would be OK, but not for those intending to improve health and seriously juice. Two weeks of every day juicing and blades are dull and no longer efficient. Hard to clean--lots of little
