We purchased this unit for our home office. The office measures 18 X 20. We were soooo disappointed. With everything installed correctly, every window and door closed, the unit did nothing for the room. It works great if you sit directly in front of it no more than 3 feet away. We emptied the water collector 2 -3 times per day so that is not the problem. For this kind of money we were not expecting miracles but were expecting some kind of performance. Save your money. I doubt this unit would keep a closet cool.
