Pros: Insufficient 'PROS' to counter-balance the clear hazard of this unit. Cons: Hazardous design (faulty switch?) can lead to potentially harmful failure.

Pros: Silent, nice dry heat, easy to move around.
Cons: Switches overheated and broke. Unit is now possibly unsafe to use.
Summary: Mine was purchased around 4 or 5 years ago. It worked great! (I usually leave the heater on constantly unless I am going away out of town, in that case I switch it off). BUT in the Fall of 2004 one of the switches shattered and fell apart on the floor
