Pros: built-in downdraft, so does not require a hood Cons: Manufacturing quality problems.
Cannot handle full-range of home cooking needs.
Difficult-to-clean grill.
Summary: This is the third Jenn-Air range I've had in less than a month. The first two were broken and inoperable upon delivery. The first was an all-electric model with a cracked radiant cooktop. The second was an all-electric range with coil burners that came ... read more

Pros: beautiful lines Cons: difficult to clean grill, only one fully functional burner
Summary: While there are two burners, one is designed for a low heat simmer. Thus, when cooking on the back burner, it may take 12-13 minutes to bring water to a boil in a small pot. This was the case when I cooked broccoli. It should have been a 4-5 minute ... read more

Pros: None Cons: This range is poorly designed. I don't advise anyone buy this product.
Summary: * Caution to families with children! The front button panel gets very HOT when the oven is on for longer than 30 minutes (i.e. if you're cooking any dinner other than simply reheating). I contacted JennAir to inspect the "problem" thinking this must be a ... read more

Pros: Looks pretty Cons: Skimpy construction - not sure of the performance as we didn't even get that far.
Summary: I received my new SS professional style Jenn-air dual fuel downdraft range with grill just the other day, and am sending it back. The "stainless steel" door was notably dented and believe it or not, there was RUST around one of the screws holding the ... read more

Pros: Good styling; excellent oven; optional griddle very good. Cons: Not enough burner heat
Marginal exhaust fan performance
Exhaust fan distorts burner flame
WAY overpriced
Summary: My wife and I have cooked on a variety of Jenn-Air ranges (both gas and electric) over the past 15 years, and have always been impressed with their cooking performance and the downdraft exhaust design. When we built our new home, the decision to install ... read more

Pros: Easy to use. Love the grill - it cooks as well as my outdoor BBQ Cons: The down draft ventilation pulls the flame away from the burners when grill is on.
Summary: I purchased this range because it had all of the features I was looking for and in a 30 inch slide in range. I specifically looked for a gas cook top with the grill feature. We live out in the country and love to BBQ. There is no way I am going ... read more

Pros: Great styling. Cons: Poor quality construction.
Summary: I bought this stove because I felt it had great style, also because I wanted to replace my current, all electric Jenn-Air stove. It is annoying that you are not able to purchase this stove without the grill, I wanted four gas burners and had to buy the ... read more

Pros: Looks nice. Will cook food. I do make a nice steak with it. Cons: Wont bring water to a strong boil. Low BTUs.
Summary: Don't buy this range if you'd like to boil water. I could not get this thing to boil water, so I called Maytag and had a repair person come out. He advised me that range is tuned properly and that the water is technically 212 degrees and boiling. What ... read more

Pros: Down vent fan Cons: Expensive and down vent blows out a low cook top flame.
Summary: I purchased our Jenn-Air several years ago after remodeling our kitchen and needed a down vent stove. I didn't realize that we would have very few choices with that feature. My biggest complaint is when the oven goes to a certain temp for a period of

Pros: Very average performance, but looks nice Cons: The downdraft ruins it. I bet they (downdrafts) won't be around long.
Summary: looks nice and "pro-style", but doesn't live up to my expectations. the fan is louder than you'd expect, and works only for moderate ventilation needs. Also, the fan comes on automatically on high when you use the grill side (very annoying), and sucks

Pros: It looks nice. Cons: A very high price for poor performance and poor customer service!
Summary: I bought the Jenn-air without considering other brands because I had a Jenn-Air for nearly 30 years with no problems. I have had this range for just under 5 years and now I can't use the oven because the control panel doesn't work at all! Also, the gas

Pros: The size, the looks, the downdraft feature, and also the company name (I thought). Cons: JennAire-Maytag hasn't done anything about fixing the range - for over 6 months now.
Summary: Can not recommmend the range. Onging problems in the computer board for six months. Range burns them out, then you get a fail code and the fan kicks on. Problem sent to "TECH" and forwarded on to "engineering" to look into the problem. Engineering

Pros: Convection oven is Ok, but there are better. The cost is lower. Don't expect much! Cons: Poor design and quality control. Poor Customer Support. Owned by Maytag!
Summary: Jenn-Air's Down Draft on their gas top ranges is worse than useless. Because of the air-gap between the burner and the grate, the down draft sucks the flame sideways and a great deal of the heat away from the very thing you are trying to heat. Very
