Pros: washes well, drys very evenly, easy to understand knobs and easy to use Cons: dryer lint-trap must be changed all the time, dryer doesn't heat as well as hoped
Because this was a product that I didn't purchase with my own funds, I feel I can give a really unbiased review of it based on the many times I have used it. The reason I didn't purchase it, is because it is in the apartment where I am living at the ...
Pros: saves space, and very easy to use Cons: none as of yet
I went several years without the luxury of my own washer and dryer, mostly because we don't have hookups and I didn't want to pay to have them put into someone elses house since we rent. This past summer my Grandmother offered me her washer and dryer,...
Pros: works great and saves space also Cons: should not use powdered detergent
My husband and I own a co-op and part of the maintaince fees that we pay every month include the use of a washer/dryer combo. There are 72 units in all where we live and they are divided into anywhere from 2 to 3 or in my case 4 units in one building....
Pros: Compact and takes up minimal space. Cons: Be prepared to clean the lint trap every time you do a load.
You may be like me and usually think of a washer/dryer combo as either fixture in a bachelor place or something the apartment manager will provide the tenant for an additional charge. And, like me you may have heard horror stories of clothes ruined by...
Pros: Good capacity, fairly quiet, compact Cons: Poor performance on large items, hard on clothes, no tub brake
This unit was supplied with our new condo, so we didn't pay for it or have any choice in its selection. Since we'd had decent previous experience with GE laundry machines (both our own and our parents'), though, we didn't see any reason for concern. ...
I closed on my condo on August 16th 2008. The condo "came with" a GE washer and dryer that the developer installed. On the day I moved in, I ran the washer one time. The machine starting making funny noises and then I smelled a burning rubber smell so ...
Pros: Solid design, easy to use, great for a condo or vacation home Cons: None
My wife and I just bought a spacemaker and we are very pleased with our purchase. We just moved into a condo and didn't have the space for a regular size washer and dryer. We were able to put the spacemaker in a closet. The SpaceMaker's controls are...
Agree wholeheartedly with the reviewer above; Don't Buy this Unit. by stof ,Jun 02 '05
Pros: It fit (barely) inside a relatively small w/d closet Cons: So many you have to read my description
This unit came with my condo and I had very few choices, besides why not go with GE right? I have learned my lesson. These units are horrible. It has broken down on us twice, once was a relatively cheap $80 fix so I didn't mind. This time the engine is blown after less than 4 years of use. $460 to fix. The worst was a flood it caused in our unit because GE stopped putting the 10 cent clamp on a hose that popped off and caused all the damage. I will never buy another GE product as long as I live.
Aren't you tired of fake Epinion "reviews" being written by marketing reps? They're loathesome creatures who abuse the public space of the Internet and hide their craven material interests. Deception by any other name is still foul. Notice that all the reviews were written within a day or two. GE marketing reps sat down and favorably reviewed each others' products. Yuk.
This GE stackable machine is crap. It's tiny, it's slow, and it's loud. Buy a Bausch or Haier, they're far better, quieter, faster, look nicer, and do a better job of washing.
