Pros: Easy to use, Easy to Clean, Very Quiet, Will Last a Lifetime.

Good for light work; bad for heavy work

by litmus07 , Mar 13 '05
Pros: Has lots of power; works great on vegetables.
Cons: Parts can melt if used for difficult jobs.
My experience with the Kitchen Aid KFP500 is that it works well for vegetables and other easy items, but self-destructs when faced with more difficult items. I have had to replace several parts due to a design flaw with the unit. ...

Pros: Great food processor!
Cons: Kind of big on the counter.
I first found out about Kitchenaid mixers when I wanted to replace my hand mixer. I looked at all the different quality products and kept coming back to Kitchenaid. Well, after replacing my hand mixer then it came time to replace my old burnt up food...

Pros: Good performance, easy to clean
Cons: Low liquid processing volume
I work full time but I love to eat well, so I look for labor saving devices that allow me to do both.

Admittedly, I never saw much need for a food processor--that what knives are for. However, try evenly shredding cabbage enough to make cole slaw for twenty. Food processor it is! KitchenAid is known for producing excellent products, and this food...

Kitchen Aid reigns supreme

by musson , Dec 16 '99
Pros: Solid quality
Cons: Heavier than other brands
The Kitchen Aid 9 cup food processor (Model KLP500WH) was my first Kitchen Aid purchase. It was a little pricey but after using it, I wouldn't trade it for 100 of any other brand! It is so versatile partly because of its power but also because of the...
