Pros: Inexpensive. Right size relocube for what I needed. Quick delivery Courteous and professional. Cons: Some of my loose items got minor damage due to my poor packing.
I just moved from St. Louis, MO to St. Petersburg, FL. Everyone I spoke to at ABF was professional, courteous and helpful. They arrived in St. Louis on time, and they picked up my loaded relocube within one hour of my calling dispatch. Both drivers were ...

Pros: You get to feel like you are saving money? Cons: You get to wake up and realize you've been screwed.
We loaded at the terminal in Oakland. We were advised by UPack to reserve 2 cubes and told that we would only pay for what we used. We managed to pack 1 cube super tight and to the hilt. I put a blue, Brinks weather resistant lock on it and left. When ...

Pros: inexpensive, on time, no hidden cost, honest drivers, great overall service! Cons: I recommend hiring pros to pack, so stuff isn't damaged in transit.
My family and I moved from NH to Austin TX and used the ABF U-Pack moving system. WE LOVED THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE! The price was significantly lower than any other mover or pack and move system out there... by a large amount .... so much so, that we ...

Pros: cost, convenience, great customer service, friendly helpful drivers Cons: none for us
We moved from the Boston area to Tucson. ABF was cheaper than Penske and they had much for flexibility. We had much more stuff than we expected and it never would have fit in a Penske, or any other truck. With ABF we just asked for a second trailer ...

Pros: Quick, Reasonable Price Cons: Ride could be rough on belongings
Moved from Bay area (San Jose) to Ontario, Canada. The experience with Upack was pleasant and they were professional. Why did I go with Upack. 1) I had about 500 cubic feet of stuff and a car to transport. Renting a cube van and towing my car was ...

Pros: There are none. I'm only sorry there is a 15 word minimum in this box. Cons: IfIknew they were going to be so lackadaisical, I would have hired full service movers.
AWFUL experience, honestly. Pick up from the destination origin was a nightmare. We purchased marking permits from the city in order to reserve space for our trailer; from Friday morning until Tuesday morning. The pick up driver didn't come pick up the ...

Pros: inexpensive, nice folks, good service Cons: none. nada. zero.
We moved our entire house from Berkeley, California to Kansas City, Kansas and didn't lose so much as a coffee cup. The key to a successful move in our opinion is proper packing. We tracked our trailer online, and the customer service reps were friendly...

Pros: Great prices, professional drivers, knowledgeable representatives. Cons: Can't handle in-state moves or local moves. Still largely do-it-yourself which means lots of work and follow-up.
This is a sweet option for anyone moving across the country. U-Pack Moving is a service offered by ABF, a nationwide trucking company. They bring a trailer to your driveway and leave it for you to load up. Then they pick it up and move it to your new...

Pros: Great customer service, awesome price. Terminal-to-terminal is cheaper. Did I mention great price? Cons: Alot of planning involved to pack into the trailer. Frequent computer errors, get hard copies!
My boyfriend and I were moving cross country from Florida to California at the end of January '09. Every dollar counted for us, since our money had to go towards *living* in California not blowing it all by *moving* there. We started ...

Pros: Low cost, terrific customer service, helpful drivers, and great over all service. Cons: Difficulty in coordinating the drop off.
My husband and I have done many self moves regionally but this was our first cross country ( northern Illinois to south west Texas ). I had seen the U -Pack trailers on the highway and decided to look then up. I did an on-line ...

Pros: Great agents; quick service; everything arrived in the condition in which it was packed Cons: Miscommunication caused the driver to have to spend time waiting on me to arrive
I just moved last week using ABF's U-Pack service. I'm currently living in Maryland and my things shipped from Indiana. My Mom packed up the truck in Indiana. The driver called to let her know he was on his way and arrived in the 30 ...

Pros: They drive the truck, low cost, fast and polite service, nothing lost Cons: Loading the trailer yourself, including hauling and intricately packing stuff into a small space.
I recently moved belongings from our two bedroom apartment from Cleveland, OH to Dallas, TX - a 1100 mile move. I researched many options, including renting a truck from U-haul or Penske, full service movers, PODS, and U-pack (ABF). It was ...

Pros: Everyone was really friendly Cons: They tried to rip us off
We moved with ABF from Nebraska to Pennsylvania. We were quoted around $1200 for 10 ft of space. The drivers were friendly, the customer service people were friendly, and the people at the terminals were friendly. The problem started when we got our ...

Pros: NYC customer service was excellent. Short turn around time. Cons: LA ABF poor customer service. Did not pick up relocube for 5 days.
I emailed ABF the below message a few days ago and have recieved no response whatsoever. In the end, ABF still did not pick up the empty relocube on Monday. I had to call them AGAIN that evening to complain that no one picked it up. ...

Pros: Friendly staff, best price by far, delivery exactly as expected, no damage Cons: Delivery could've been earlier in the day -- nothing major
ABF came in well under the bids other companies put out for our stuff. They also delivered the Relocubes (their term for moving crates or PODs) first thing in the morning the day they said they would. The guy who dropped the crates off even repositioned ...
