Pros: Cost, Effectiveness, Great Customer Service, Great Service they Provide Cons: ..hmm....still thinking
My husband and I just used ABF for our move from Charleston SC to Seattle, WA, and let me tell you what a headache saver (and money saver) it was! Also---we decided FOR ABF and AGAINST so many other companies based on the opinions we got from ...

Pros: destination storage, affordable, they drive, more space than typical moving trucks, pay for space used Cons: confusion on delivery dates, need to cover load well
We recenlty moved 1500 miles to a city where we had no home and knew no one. The main thing about ABF that was instrumental in us choosing them was the ability to load the trailer one time and have them store it for us until we found a new ...

Pros: Economical; you don't have to drive a big truck; professional, courteous customer service Cons: Rough-riding freight truck, must pack very well to avoid damage
I recently moved from Florida to Oklahoma. This was a very difficult move for a lot of reasons. The one thing that went smoothly was the moving of my possessions, thanks to ABF. This company is a freight company, and they do this u-pack service as a ...

Pros: Easy, Relatively cheap. Can drive your own car. Cons: Service could be better, especially punctuality. Expect delays.
I intitially reserved a Budget truck and a tow dolly and was going to pull my car behind it. I read online about tow dollies screwing up the alignment on your car, among other things, and started getting freaked out. Did I want to drive a huge ...

Pros: Easy to understand invoice, billing; nice customer service, low maintenance move, low stress Cons: Packing and unpacking
When my husband and I planned our move from San Diego to Nashville, I quickly became overwhelmed by the details involved, not to mention all the moving companies and options available. We chose Upack based on price and because we could take our things ...

Pros: saving money, someone else drives, and did I mention saving money? Cons: no-frills, load it yourself, slower delivery
After reading the ABF website, on-line reviews, and comparing prices with full-service movers, U-Hauls, etc - we decided to save ourselves a good bit of money and try ABF. We used a full 28-foot trailer to move from Florida to Louisiana. We made our ...

Pros: Great team of employees, a pleasure to do business with, will definitely recommend to others Cons: None that I can think of.
To whom it may concern, I would like to say what a wonderful experience we had moving our daughter from Connecticut to Tennessee. After getting prices from U-Haul and PODS and thinking how expensive it was going to be, I happened to see your add on ...

Pros: - Service, Service, Service!!!!
- Did what they said
- Low cost Cons: - Truck can be dirty
- No air-ride suspension
- No rented moving blankets
I really cannot say enough positive things about ABF U-Pack moving. A long distance move is a very stressful experience that I hope not to repeat often. I found myself moving from MA to TX. That is over 2000 miles. After looking into the standard ...

Pros: Cheap, no driving a U-haul! Cons: Pack with care...or else
After checking out Epinions and movingscams.com, we decided to give ABF U-pack a shot for our move from Birmingham, Alabama to Portland, Oregon. At 2800 miles, we didn't want to add the stress and delay of driving a truck to our already challenging drive ...

Pros: prompt at all stages, can blame only self for mishandling, economical and no tips expected, liability Cons: loading experience, can blame only self for mishandling, partial self-service seems excuse for bad service, liability
I had chosen ABF U-Pack because my thrift shop furniture was not worth special handling either by movers or in transport and could be disassembled to take advantage of the company's policy of measuring load by volume, not weight. In addition, my...

Pros: cheap, good service when you push Cons: somewhat of a hassle
You get what you pay for. So far, that is the one true aphorism in my life. It's what I like to tell people who ask why I use a Mac, but that's a different story.
Here's the one-paragraph version, for the lazy (you know who you are): ABF...

Pros: EXCELLENT customer service.
Least expensive moving service.
More time to move than rental trucks. Cons: Truck interiors could be cleaner.
No loading ramps on trucks.
We moved from Virginia to Wisconsin (about 1000 miles) using ABF's U-PACK service. It cost us about $2125 for 42' of truck space (1 1/2 trucks). I also paid $150 for a ramp. It also cost me $125 in gas to drive both cars. Total: $2400 ($2275 to ABF)....

Pros: Good customer service. Great price. Cons: It's hard work. It's dirty work. Also, it's hard work.
We logged on to epinions when we were thinking of using this service and read the many opinions. It was very helpful in making our decision to use ABF. So I felt it was only right to come back and add my two cents worth. We got exactly what we paid f ...

Pros: cheap, cheap, cheap. Cons: Have to load the truck yourself and pack everything very carefully.
Moved from Kansas City, MO to Austin, TX. My experience with ABF was very positive, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to make a long distance move. Everyone I dealt with was polite and helpful, the drivers, the customer service, the ...
