Pros: On time shipping Cons: They will damage your car and not pay for damages.
This was my second time using DAS and I should have learned my lesson the first time around. Back in '04, I bought a car off Ebay and used DAS to ship it from Ohio to Las Vegas. Though it arrived on schedule, it also arrived with $1300.00 of damage. ...

Pros: Timely, excellent response, courteous on the phone. Cons: I would have a hard time coming up with a negative. I was impressed.
After reading many of the criticism's on this site... I must say that I was skeptical. But, then again, most people that have a pleasant experience are not going to take the time and effort for praise... but if you have a bad experience, you're going to ...

Pros: None. Cons: You name it....
I chose a terminal to terminal shipping from Pittsburgh to Las Vegas. After 2 weeks I called to check the status, my car was still at origin terminal; the driver took off w/ the keys but left my car. The saddest thing is that the 1800 customer service ...

Pros: None. Cons: They admitted their sales person made mistake but they made me pay for it anyway.
Upon hiring D.A.S. to haul a 75 year old truck across country for me I was told that as long as it starts they can haul it and not need to winch it up. I paid the entire $1700.00 up front which other companies don't make you do. It turned out that ...

Pros: reliable and responsible, good price, satellite tracking, terminal to terminal shipping available Cons: slight delay in shipping out, online tracking temporarily down, bad communication of customer service
I was very nervous about chooising a good auto transport company. I reviewed many different websites and customer reviews and became very skeptical about auto transport companies. I finally narrowed it down to Tnt auto shippers and Dependable auto...

Pros: car arrived early, no problems Cons: expensive relative to other quotations received
This was my one and only experience with shipping a vehicle and was therefore a little hesitant. I shipped a '99 Pontiac Boneville from Hayward, CA to Burlington, MA.
Dependable was a bit pushy on the phone, regarding scheduling, which I didn't...

Pros: Reasonable price, Fast delivery Cons: Unclear insurance terms
I was referred by another moving company to DAS. I also did some research online and got several quotes from different shippers and finally chose DAS. I settled down for the terminal-to-terminal service because of its relatively low price from CA to VA...

Pros: If your car or motorcycle doesn't arrive when promised, there ARE NO PROS! Cons: Slow, costly, unreliable, promise anything to get your money. 'Depots' are towing company storage lots!
Unfortunately, I forgot to check here for the reviews by other Epinion uses about DAS. Hopefully, my experience will help someone else. First, DAS is recommended by Ebay. DON'T BUY THE HYPE! If you stop reading this review after this paragraph, ...

Pros: Car did get from point A to B Cons: Car damaged in transit; rude customer service; took way too long to get car.
In 2004, my family moved cross country. We contracted with DAS to transport our brand new 2004 SUV. Prior to them taking our car, dealing with their sales person was a breeze. However, once they took possession of our car, we saw their truly ...

Pros: I hear that the bikes do eventually arrive intact Cons: overpriced, abominable customer service, pickup and delivery dates less predictable than the weather.
I purchased a motorcycle on EBay on October 25. The seller used DAS, as that is the EBay endorsed shipper. Big mistake. First problem is that DAS does not ship motorcycles, they outsource to Haulbikes.com while charging substantially more than ...

Pros: Nothing!!! Cons: They don't care who's car it is!!!
About a month ago, I stumbled across a nice Mustang on Corral.net. I talked with the gentleman for over 4 hours on the phone about the car the first night. He provided every receipt for just about every part on the car as well as hundreds of pictures ...

Pros: HHmmm... I received my car...finally Cons: very poor communication, lack of organization, lots of excuses
Sales person told me 10-11 day delivery from Portland to Detroit. My car sat on the lot for 6 days, sat in Moreno Valley, then Carson for 2-3 days each, north again and finally east. It actually took 15 days. I called customer service and was given a...

Pros: Car was delivered early. Cons: Don't count on them helping you if they damage your car.
Because of where I was shipping from, my only option was to use DAS. I was wary because the sales people on the phone were a bit like the stereotypical car salesmen. They tried to get me to pay an extra $200 or $300 bucks to get my car on the top of ...

Pros: Nothing positive about this experience. Even their voice mail reeks of incompetence. Cons: People who work for DAS are incompetent or their company's policies require them to be.
Undependable!!! I wanted to ship a motorcycle purchased on Ebay. Because Dependable Auto Shippers (DAS) advertised that they were the Ebay's preferred shipper, I contacted the company by phone and agreed to and paid for a contract--on September 28! ...

Pros: delivered as promised, best price quoted, took $50 off for
mentioning ebay. Cons: reputation, added $100 for oversized vehicle charge
I bought a 94 pathfinder. It was a modified off road truck with suspension work and big tires. It was being shipped from Washington State to upstate New York. I never had a vehicle shipped before buti figured if E-Bay uses them they must be ok. So I ...
